the only thing I don't like about Paper crafts is that they use a lot of templates and instead of giving you the picture of the template (to make one yourself) they tell you to use a purchased one!

I just ordered a one year subscription to papercrafts through Amazon.com and it cost 11.92 total - this is a cheaper way to try it out if anyone is interested...
Most importantly I clicked on the Amazon logo on the SCS home page to go to Amazon so SCS will get a little kickback on my papercrafts subscription!

Hi. I just got Papercrafts renewal notice and it says 3 years for $37.97. Where and how did you get this deal? Do you think if I just call them they will give me the same deal? On this renewal it said it was a one time offer!

Linda -
I got that same notice - which then prompted me to call them - I called their 800 number and asked for a better deal, because I had paid only $10 for my current year. She was very willing to give me the three year for less than 30!

Thanks, Van! I just called, thinking my subscription was up this month, and said I wanted the renewal rate my friend got, 3 yrs/29.97. And she did it! And, as it turned out, I did still have another year to go, so now I'm good til March 2009! At $10/year...can't beat that!
So thanks for posting this! And ladies....CALL 'EM, even if your subscription isn't up, I doubt you'll be able to get $10/year subscription fee when it is!
Hugs,
Betsy

Yeah! Thanks for the info!

I just ordered!!! Thanks for the tip....I don't have to worry about renewal until Jan 09!!!! How exciting is that???
FYI: They asked me for an offer code. I told her I didn't have one and she "found" it for me. If anyone else knows it, it might be helpful. They might not be able to "find" it for everyone. It probably depends on the person you get on the phone .

Paper Crafts
I just called the 800 number, they said it would be 19.97 per year.
She suggested I find the little postcard inserts from Feb, they had lower prices with the "code".
I would like the "code" needed to get 3 years for 29.97, if anyone can post this or email me this, thank you

Stamp It does NOT offer subscriptions yet. They started to and then backed out. Maybe they're afraid they don't have enough readership? HARDLY!!
I'd call Paper Crafts back. Just tell them point blank you now have TWO friends who were give this rate of 24 issues for 29.97 and you want it too. Ask to speak with a supervisor if necessary, and tell her that I did not have to have any sort of code. Who knows, though, it may just depend on who answers the phone!
Good luck and keep trying!
Hugs,
Betsy

Thanks so much. I just started a sub and the bill had been sitting, I wanted to make sure it was worth the price. I even called several weeks ago to see if they had a better deal...they said 2yrs. 29.97... I'm glad I waited! That bargain made my day!
If anyone else knows of ant other magazine bargains let me know.
Also I'm trying to find all 4 of the Take Ten magazines. I went to Barnes & Nobles today, but my local one doesn't carry it.....when I went to leave some lady backed into my car! I didn't even get what I went in for.

Wow, I just called and they really did not want to give it to me. She asked me for my friend's zip code and the code I needed for the special, I explained that I did not have her zip nor the code, but I told her several people that I talk to on the internet assured me that they received the special price even without the code. She asked me to hold on and came back and said ok, but one time only, I'll worry about that in 3 years.
So I got it now for another 3 years!! for only $29.97!! Thank you so much for telling us about it.
