Ladies!
Let us know if it is the same one that spoiled stamper has and how it works for you! I would like to know how much space it is going to need on the desktop.....
I have mine on little shelves that are just as deep as the pad and it is working for me but they get shuffled as I pull one out and return it to the stack - this way I know which ones I use the most huh!!
Keep us updated - I may just have to order one too!

I ordered one also, it will be here Thursday as well! Mine is not by fellows by laserline, I think.. I looks about the same. I hope it will hold the old style pads, I have more of those than the new.. I will let you know how mine works out! Susie

Ok...I received mine today. At first the pads were falling out so I was bummed. But I came back and looked at the picture here. You must put the stamp pad in with the name on the edge to the left. I was putting it to the right and they slipped out, to the left and the little lip on the bottom will hold it tightly in place.

Only thing bad thing..it does not hold the Staz-on, Versamark, Brilliance and Opalite pads that I have. I was hoping it would hold them all.

Anybody have ideas???

Thanks!
Chris

Does it hold the old style pads? Could you glue in a piece of wood, the real thin kind that you get from Micheals? I was hoping all my pads would work as well!

I am not sure if this will work or if it will be a pain but I was thinking you could put the stamp pad in 1/2 of an actual cassette "case". Not the side with the two prongs. Then it would fit??? Just a thought. I don't have any old style pads because I started stamping after the new ones were out but thought I would give my idea.

Unfortunately I do no have any old style pads. I signed up as a demo after the the pad style was changed.

I'm wondering...I have a lot of thick cardboard. If I cut it a little bigger than those stamp pads and glue it in like a little shelf maybe that would work.

Hmmm...thanks for the idea!

I think I spend more time organizing all my stuff that anything.. I also thought maybe if you put little cork or rubber/plastic dots on each side it may also hold them better..

Ok...it worked.

What I did was cut a piece of chipboard/thick cardboard to fit in from side to side but stick out about 1/2 inch beyond the Staz-on pad. By doing this it makes the pad fit snugly on the left hand side and gives the rest of the pad a little shelf to sit on. I used a glue dot in the back corners to make sure it sticks and stays.

Let me know if you need a picture.

I got mine yesterday and I was a little disappointed as they do no fit really tight...the look like they are going to fall out! It's also a litttle tipsy because it's so tall. Oh well...it's better than having them in drawers where I had to search for the color I wanted! It's worth the $14 until I can afford a fancy shmancy one!

Do you have the old pads or the new ones? The new ones do fit tight, you have to put them in with the edge that has the stamp pad color printed on it to the left. When I did mine the other way they all slid out. Check the photo in this forum to see what I mean.

You also have to load from the bottom up and best if you put some on all sides vs all on 1 or 2 sides. I just spun mine around and had no problems. The little shelves I made out of cardboard also worked great for the Staz-on, Brilliance and Opalite pads. Versamark is a little too thick but I shoved it in and it stays.

Good Luck!

I have the new style pads. They fit tight enough, but they don't sit in there straight...they kind of slope to the right a little bit. I have the printed edge with the color name on it on the left side. I put each color family on a side and in the middle so it's not top heavy. I think I just have to get used to it!

Thanks for your tip for storing the other type of pads...I'll have to try that since I have quite a few other pads.

I got my cassette holder today. It does the job! It's not too bulky. The pads fit in there snuggly. My 2 year old gave it a twirl. In my mind I saw the pads flying all over the place, but they didn't in real life. So it does what I want it to. Good enough for me for under $14 including shipping!!

I took the plunge also, $13.74 including shipping. Not a bad deal at all since is on sale for $5.99. I cannot wait to get it, thanks for letting us know about it.

Yep... just got through with the FELLOWES website and ordered my stamp pad holder, too. Our Wal-Mart is always so crowded and with it being 20 minutes away, this was a much better way to do this!!!! While we're on the subject of storage, for those of you who don't have a desk with lots of filing space, Wal-Mart does have these great containers that hold letter files that are great for your 8-1/2 x 11 SU cardstock! They run about $13.00 dollars and some of them have see through lids so you can see what's what! As long as you're sliding it around the "stamp" room, it's great.... if you need to take it somewhere, have DH load it!!!!!!

I got mine today!! I ordered one from laserline, but it is basically the same.. The new pods fit in great... Real snug, for the old pads I made a shelf out of black matboard. My measurements were 2 in by 4 3/8 in.
I really came out nice.. For some of my other pads that would not fit with the shelf because they were to wide, I just cut a tiny strip, and used that strong double sided tape that you use for the bead pens.. If some of the pads felt like the were to loose i cut a piece of black foam, about 1 1/2 in by 1 in, ( that had sticky on one side,) and put that on the shelf.. It is great for the old pads. The foam sat inside the dent area on the old pads.

Thanks for sharing and for the pics too! One more question??? Does it seem wobbly and how much space does it take up? THanks! :P

I don't think the Fellowes one is wobbly at all.

I'd say you need about 12 to 13" in diameter to have it spin freely.

HTH!

Keri - The one from www.fellowes.com is 19.9"h x 7.9"w x 7.9"d. Don't know about the wobbley part, I haven't received mine yet, but everyone else says it's great! The item # is 83204.

Default Pad holders

Hello Ladies,
I had my hubby make me a round pad holder. It will hold 5 pads per layer, and as I collect more pad we add layers. We made the circle big enough to take both old style and new style as well as pads from other companies. I'll take a picture today and up-load later.

Shawna

If you have a picture on your computer size it to no bigger than 640x480 pixels and you can attach it to any post you do...there is a button above and to the left of the preview/submit buttons that you can click on then browse your computer to find the picture you want to attach. :P

I just looked all over fellowes.com and cannot find the spinner that you all are talking about. Maybe they discontinued it or are all out? If you have a direct link to the product could you post it? Also checked laserline.com and think I found the right one. Anyone know if it is the 100 capacity spinner ID #: AC100S and how much shipping is? Any help would be appreciated because I NEED one of these. Knew I should have ordered sooner.

I just got mine this past week and it holds the new SU pads just fine.

that's weird, the link doesn't work. When you go to the site, type 'cassette' in the search field and it's the last holder shown.

Fellowes must be wondering why the sudden interest in their cassette holders

Be warned...having such a wonderful holder may cause you to feel the need to buy more stamp pads since you have a great place to store them.

Yes, yes it's true...I bought on E-bay a whole set of the Opalite pads and their re-inkers...stop me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
