Ideas for expectant mother/baby cards

I need to make a few cards to send an expectant mother as she approaches her due date. I have a grand total of one :shock: stamp set suitable for baby-themed cards so I was hoping someone could recommend some stamp sets to me. Thanks!

Justrite has two very good sets "Special delivery" and "bundle of joy". Taylored expressions and IO also have sets. Some these also have dies to go with.

My Favorite Things has some cute dies. Their adorable stamp set for a pregnant mama is retired... it's called Baby Bump

Not sure if you could find it any where. But it is my favorite for baby showers, baby announcements, etc

There are some super cute new Stampin' Up sets (one with framelits!) coming that were just previewed tonight to demos. Check with your demo to see if she went and can show off her catalog, and you can order June 1, if that's not too late!

I just wanted to add that if you have any sort of theme/color that you are decorating the nursery with that that is also a good jumping off point.

It subtly gives people an idea of your taste and color schemes. That doesn't however mean that people will take the hint. :lol:

For example back in the day we decorated our nursery with Laura Ashley Noah's Ark theme which was a soft green on white with muted, realistic animal colors.

We received at bright primary red/blue/yellow Noah's ark bedding set!!!

With baby registries that probably isn't as much of a problem these days.

I just love Bugaboo's "JJ" images. She's a modern pregnant lady with some real class. (JJ) Check it out. And the images are digital so you can have them right away. :-)

I really like the new SU set which I just pre-ordered today so it will probably be too late for you in June but it's still worth mentioning. I probably wouldn't have ordered it but being due at the end of July I kind of had to, right? :-)

It was one of the prizes at the catalog event the other night and I totally wanted to win it to jump up and dance around lol! I think I should have won it on principle lol!!!! ;-)
