Default I need some more Christmas gift ideas for teachers.....

I have two boys in 2nd and 3rd grade and would like to make a couple hand stamped items for their teachers for Christmas that they could use. And so far I have made each a CD calendar using Crayon Kids and each a post it note holder using those acrylic frames using Shapes & Shadows. I also plan on making a matching pen to go with the post it notes. I figured since they will be using these throughout the year, I didn't want to stamp them with a Christmas theme. I would like to make one more item and then include a box of chocolates along with a cocoa mix of some sort. What else you think a teacher could use? TIA

Oh wow! That will be a wonderful gift. How about a marble tile coaster or a picture frame the right size to put a class pic of the students for that year?

I have been doing teacher gifts since preschool. They rave about all of them but I have had many comment on the box of handstamped cards. I have done sets of 8: thank you notes or blank inside.

I have done tiles, covered front pocketed jr. legals, kitchen note pads, sticky note pads, small pillar candles, and individual godiva hot chocolate packets in a vertical pouch, small calenders.

Instructions for the vertical pouch are on my website:

Default Snow day survival kit

I'm doing a snow day survival kit:
a color-a-mug thingys with Frosty stamped as the insert ($.99 at AC Moore)
hot chocolate (in a stamped paper "pouch") ($.50 grocery store)
Jiffy pop popcorn--with a stamped cover ($1.00 at Target)
a (stamped) votive candle (with snowflakes) (8 for $3 at Target)
a couple of chocolate covered spoons (plastic spoon, melted chocolate--already in my pantry)

It looks like a lot, but I won't have a lot of $$ tied up in any of the gifts, and it'll all coordinate!!! I love stamping...

I am doing a spa in a can for the teachers on my list. I stamped a blank paint can with Roses in winter and decorated as needed. In the can is some chocolate, foam bath, bath salts, bath fizzies.

I am a teacher, and one of the gifts I liked best (before becoming a SU demo) was a box of note cards. I write notes to my students and their parents throughout the year, and note cards are an awesome gift...especially at Christmas when you need to write thank you cards anyway. If you decide on this idea, don't forget to use a copyright stamp that includes your name on the back of the card. That way, when someone else receives the card as a thank you, you may also get a referral.

Great ideas, ladies. I'm doing a stamp camp for kids and they will be making the gifts, along with a matching card and wrap. I hadn't completely decided on what I would do, but you ladies have really helped in that department. What a great site!

Last year I made sachets for the teachers. You take vermiculite (used for potting plants) and shake it up with some scented oil from the craft store. stamp an envelope and put some of the mixture inside and seal all the edges! I made them in threes and put a ribbon around them. They turned out really cute.
