craftymomto2, I just check them and the links worked for me. Hmmm, I wonder why the problem is not consistent with everybody?

Breezy, I just checked them again and they worked for me. I wonder if it's a browser thing. I'm using Firefox. Here's the direct link to the download, maybe it'll work this way.

Thanks momtoggk. The first time I went to that link it didn't open for me. I'm going to make one of these. I don't have the stamp set you have so I'll have to find something else suitable. That one is perfect for the calendar though.

Thanks again. I needed some inexpensive, yet nice, gifts also.

I am making file folders (altered SU File folders) filled with individualized paper - we made some at one of my demos classes. I need to make 10 so one pack is perfect!!

Does someone have the instructions for this?

Thanks!

I am so glad this thread was started. I too will be making gifts for 30 of my team mates. There are so many good ideas listed. The hardest part will be which one to use.

Thanks

I am decorating white lunch size bags and putting in a dozen or so home made cookies - they will probably all be chocolate chips. There's no one who doesn't like cookies. PN

I bought a tin of Quality Street Sweets.

Yes, it's English and they are sweeter than you American sweets, it's a mix of toffees, and all sorts of other small wrapped sweets.

I made a box, by scoring 2" along each egde, then found the center of the page and scored and inch to either side.

It's like a pizza box, only I glued all the base section together to make a box with lid attached, then i just filled this with sweets, and added bows to it, everyone loved them.

If you need just a "token" gift, make a big cookie and "wrap" it in a paper CD envelope that you stamped with seasonal stamps. I made those last year for a cookie exchange and they were easy and very cute. It requires a cookie about the size of the ones you can buy at McAlister's Deli...for those of you who have those nearby. I just doubled a favorite recipe and made them large when I placed them on the cookie sheet for baking. The cookie shows through the cello cover of the envelope and looks quite festive surrounded by candy canes, Santas, and trees!

I'm thinking of buying some clear ornaments and etching the outside and putting a pretty ribbon on the top. You can get 4 ornaments in a pack at the craft stores. Will use my circut for the pattern.

This year I'm trying my hand at marble magnets; in the past I've done stamped cube notepads with altered pens, or bought cheap mugs from the dollar store and filled them with home made mixes of hot chocolate or flavored coffee.

A favorite of mine is making wreaths (and other shapes) out of the small pretzels dipped half way with white chocolate. After you dip the pretzel half way in melted chocolate, drop on wax paper, then your next one would lay next to the last, untill you have made a circle or any shape for that matter. You can make it tier if you are feeding a large group. To make the bow, you would unroll a fruit rollup, it is fun to make a bow from it. Wrap in clear wrap and tied with a tag and lots of curling ribbon.

Here's a fast and easy Christmas gift... a mini calendar to pop in a purse, or stand upright on a desk.

Default Almond Roca

I am looking for a quick recipe I found on Splitcoast last year - Almond Roca. I made batches of this and packaged it up for a great gift giving idea. I have many that I gave it too and they are already asking if I am making it again. I can't find the recipe!

Does anyone have the recipe for Almond Roca? Please help.

If you want something on the "goofy" side, you could always make grinch poop - I made some for craft fairs and sold quite a few, especially for men's stockings!

I need to make 24 gifts for my co-workers (men and women) so I am making biscotti and toffee and putting these cute tags on the bags.

The recipes are super simple too.

Here's the biscotti recipe:
