Default I need detailed instructions for this awesome card!!

I tried to figure out how to PM Pinefeather, but I'm not having any luck. Anyway, I LOVE the card called "Sweet Pink Daisy Card", featuring Petal Prints. It uses crayon resist (only on the middle part, I think), but also the Craft White pad. I tried this last night and ended up ruining two pieces of wonderful cardstock.

I don't know if something is wrong with my White Craft pad or what. It's too goopy, but yet the cardstock doesn't take the ink well! Very strange. And then do I emboss it, just heat set it, or what?

Here's the card - I'm eager to try this one - can anyone help??

Thanks in advance!

I think the White Craft ink is too goopy too. Take a paper towel or napking and wipe the excess. Or just lightly tap the stamp to the ink. Do not press. See if that works.

The background was done using the ghost tech I think.

Default Card technique

What would you call the technique for this card? Would you consider it an embossed technique?

Also, store your craft pad upside down so that the ink will sink to the bottom of the pad. So when you look at what is facing up it should be the bottom part with the paper label not the top that has the printing on it...that may help. I just turned mine yesterday to see if it does help at all!

Default Brayer the craft

If your pad is still goopy after trying the suggestions already mentioned, you might want to use the brayer (which I always use anyway with pigment ink). It will give you an even application of ink.

What cardstock are you using? Are you using glossy or regular cardstock? It might be this is an issue with ink application/drying as well. I tend to always heat emboss pigment inks, being to impatient to let dry for days before using...

Good luck!

All my best,

Neighbor_Nancy

Default Goopy white craft pad

Hi Susan,

Just an idea - when stamping with your white craft pad, maybe you could try stamping off a little of the ink on a scrap paper and then stamping your image on your cs. I know that it sounds a little obvious to some but it helped me! My white craft is also REALLY juicy to the point that I was smudging almost everything I tried to make. I tried the above tech. and it made a really big difference.

Just a thought!
Good luck,
Jackie
