Any color-I have lots of solid colors we can start with. That card has a main color-light blue and an accent color=white. Tell me which 2 colors you are considering so I can arrange my paper. Like, if you want soft pinks-I can post a pic of the pinks I have. If you want dark greens, I can post a pic.

This is an example of a color chart

If you say which color you like, then a person can find a similar color in their supply of paper. These are Tim Holtz ink colors, so there are not papers in exact matches but it gives a person the right idea of what kind of pink you want. or what kind of blue, green, purple, the colors are endless and this helps narrow it down.

Linda - please click on the thumbnails below to enlarge the picture to select your butterfly and sentiment.

Do not Quote the reply because it will print a bunch of garbled numbers and letters like post #205 above.

I like sentiment #2 And butterfly top right side. But I wondering if to big for the font of the card? What do you think?  sentiment 2 going outside bottom of the cards. Are first two bottom butterflies ment for layer it look like it? Thanks Linda

Ps: I am thinking putting smaller  butterflies in the corners on the inside of the cards. Do you think that is to much?

The butterfly will be fine for the front of the card. If you want it layered, that would be possible. For the inside of the card, the smaller butterflies will work very well. Personally, I would not put a butterfly in every corner of the inside. I would cluster 2 or 3 for a focal point. The cluster could go in a corner, or centered on the left side of the opened card, with the right side of the card for writing your message.

Here is the front of your card and my suggestion for the inside butterfly cluster. Let me know what you think and any adjustments. The blue one is the sample from Pinterest. Are we looking pretty good?

Yes, I would layer one in white and one in pink. I don't care if pink or white under pink. Or the other away around. Whatever you think looks best? No I don't wanted  butterfly's in every corner. Just two corners Left top and bottom right corner. And lace down front of the card. Or whatever the right name is for the lace looking stuff? And flowers and pearls on top of the flowers with saying on the  front of the card? Do you fallow me now? Do you have any questions now? And there would still room  to  writing your message. on the right side. Do you have bible verse? That will good inside with the butterfly layout I show you? Thanks Linda

yes, what change i! I know is in my head but hard... . I think pink need solid like Pinterest and and saying think of you have white and a dark or light pink strip underneath white saying stamp in black. Do you have flowers like the one on Pinterest or something like them? So we can add the pearls to the center of the flowers? And see this the cards? How the butterfly is layer. That I wanted my inside to be expected  the butterflies are smaller. And layer bottom right corner. And Left top corner. For the inside of the card. And let keep the inside butterfly cluster for another card project. I love that ideal too! And drop it more in the center of the card just a little.

I understand about putting a layer of color under the butterfly.

The filigree or lace piece in white. Yes, I have some small flowers and pearls that can be glued on that panel. Did you want that to be a strip down the middle, like the blue sample card? or a rectangle in a frame like the lavender sample card?

Neither of the samples has a sentiment on the outside. If you want the "Thinking of You" on the outside, where do you want it and where will the butterfly go in relation to the sentiment? (Maybe from the lavender sample-can put the sentiment where the flower is and the butterfly lower?)

What is V shape?

Do you mean the rectangular strips along the bottom of the card?

I added a scripture for the inside, if you like it.

Are the flowers and butterfly how you want for the inside?

no rectangular strips I like the scripture keep it stamped on the card itself
In black ink. The flowers are wrong and butterflies too. The blue card pinterest everything should be the same. your change the color pink instead bule. And add saying bottom of the front of the card Think of you in black ink. I want another shadow pink and then the white that say think of you. Both pieces cut in V shape . When that done will talk about inside. Go look at the last posted. There should be a link show you the ideal for the saying thanks Linda

OK, now I know what you mean by "v" - it is sometimes called a "fish tail" banner. The first card you showed had square ends to the panel, so it made no sense. The second card has the type you are wanting.

you can layer the two smaller butterflies together just like on front card and put inside the card. Take the flowers off and pink and white  and stamp verse in the middle part of card itself in black. We might add pearls too the butterflies too? I wanted white flowers and pink pearls add to the front of card. down the middle. Thanks Linda

This layout has pink panel on white cardstock base, white lace strip down middle, white butterfly in middle, small pink flowers with pearl centers, sentiment at the bottom of card on pink layer, embossed in black, with white under layer cut in fishtail banner style.

Hi Dr. Sonja,
Just butting in here to say that this last version is gorgeous...but I liked all the other ones too. So many different ways to place card elements are what make card-making fun..and challenging!

Yes, very challenging to convert ideas to words to paper. But we keep trying and adjusting and soon it will be just what Linda wants. Then the glue goes on!

Yes, Thanks for you patients..... I have Ideal inside.... But, I don't think it fits the front of the card anymore? After See the awesome Front and in put for inside? It's funny how after see the  Front I don't like my inside ideal. I like verse.  but, wait another ideal just hint me. Now let see if I can explain it? I know what is in head but, no sure I am going to like when done? Question frist do you have any lace punches?

Hi, Linda,
I have a couple of edge punches but I have a LOT of dies. If you want a panel for the inside that has scalloped edges or lacey look all around, I can do that. Can you explain your ideas for me in more detail or post a picture of something similar? Then I will look through my supplies to find what matches best.

yes, scalloped edges or lacey look all around. And Pink underneath white paper With bible verse in black on the white. And maybe have the pink and while layer both scalloped edges or lacey look for both pieces? The pink and white not sure? What do think about this? And layer two butterflies like you did on front card. May one with layers bottom corner and one with layers in the opposite corner with small pearls on butterflies? Like we do on the outside of the card? I trying to picture this in my head? Do you think this layer fits the front of the card? For the inside of the card?  Do you have any suggestions? I am opened hear them and see them. And I will let you know if, I like them or not? I am very very excited about front card! That I why kind hung up on the inside of the card. If, know what trying to say here! Thanks, Linda

Can you explain your ideas for me in more detail or post a picture of something similar? Then I will look through my supplies to find what matches best.

Here are 4 different dies. Any one of them would be beautiful in the inside. I can stamp the Bible verse in black in the center of the panel.

We can put butterflies in the inside, but I do not think pearls on the inside is a good idea because when the card closes the pearls will make bumpy spots and it will not close flat. Better to just have flat things inside. 2 layers on butterflies is ok.

And layer the butterflies the opposite concerts? what do you think? Do you understand where I come from? I have decide what frame yet! And there is # or names on the frames? How am I going to tell you witch one I like so you will know witch one it is? thanks

Not sure I understand. So, let me suggest: Looking at the pic above-there are 4 designs. The one on far right is full size and it is pink, lying on the white. Your card base is white. If we put the pink one on the right on the white base and then cut a smaller rectangle in white using the scallop design of the 2nd from left- that would make 3 layers on the inside. Could stamp the verse on the small white and add the butterflies. Keep in mind that there is only a certain amount of space to fit it all in.

I am not sure what your saying here. But, I like the picture. But, should I do pink base and pink frame? and use the white paper with verse and add while butterflies to the pinks so your layers.
