KEYWORD: DEC20VSNMINI3

Stamps: SU sentiment
Paper: PTI scraps from the stash, vellum
Ink: copic markers, spica glitter pens
Technique: paper shaping

Challenge was a deli item and stripes. Drew stripes on vellum to simulate deli wrapper. No stamps for deli items but lots of paper to cut into shape of a hamburger with all the toppings, even sesame seeds on the bun. This will be a fun birthday card to be given from one junk food lover to another--bon appetit.

This is adorable! Love that you cut paper for all the hamburger elements and didn't need stamps at all. The sesame seeds add a fun detail.

Last one for the VSN Mini

KEYWORD: DEC20VSNMINI2

Stamp: Power Poppy-Great Big Sexy Leaves, Sentiment-Honey Bee
Ink: Nuvo Shimmer Powders-Atlantis Burst & Falling Leaves, Lindy's Magicals - Omp Pah Pah Pink, TH DOX Wilted Violet, SU Emerald Envy, copic marker-black
Paper: Watercolor
Technique: puzzle

This one broke my heart to cut into 28 pieces! Used watercolor paper because it is nice and thick for puzzle background. Lightly misted with water and applied the color powders, let them run around and then air dry. Used copic marker to draw the edge. Applied leaf pattern and Hello sentiment. MISTI essential for multiple stamping on uneven watercolor paper. Heat set and then pressed in dictionary to flatten. Cried and then chopped it up!

Thanks Linda,
A Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I am celebrating our Thanksgiving one day early. It is only going to be me and my husband, and our daughter, her husband and the grandkids. They have been staying home and isolating, and the granddaughters are in online school, so we feel safe enough being with them. We will call our son and his wife on Thanksgiving day, but will probably not be able to see them until next year. I haven't seen the rest of the family since January of this last year! This COVID pandemic has really changed things, but I know it will improve. So, in the meantime, best wishes to you and your family.

Hi Linda,

I noticed that you were wondering what other designs you could make for the last seven and I'm wondering if you've thought of making the last of them all the same. When I make a lot of Christmas cards, I usually make more than one of each design and make special ones for family or close friends. The rest of my list usually get simple cards that are the same, with a little change here or there.

That's a lot easier than trying to make each one from scratch, and yet everyone still gets a handmade card. I'm sure that all the recipients will special no matter what you do.

If you would like to use a teapot image, I could stamp the SU image and add tangle designs to it. What color background paper do you want for it?

KEYWORD: ABC14H8  Sweet Valentine

Stamp: SU
Paper: Lil Birdie Purple Passion, PTI Lilac Grace, white doily
Technique: easel card, paper shaping, fussy cutting
Accessories: TH heart die, Lindy's Gang embossing powder in Purple Polka

For this card a heart shaped base in lilac gingham was trimmed by gathering doily into a ruffle around the outside edge. The butterfly, birds and flowers were fussy cut, shaped by rolling a large stylus on the back of cut-outs and using foam dots to elevate, the layered scene was created. The easel stand is a Tim Holtz die cut heart attached to a fold down banner with the embossed sentiment. The entire card fold flat for mailing in an oversized envelope.

It was your idea to go with navy blue, embossing folder. I think it turned out very elegant looking. You have good ideas for designs.
