I'm not sure if those are stamps. They look like they might be vintage illustrations-- one of the images says it's a postcard from the 1970s.

Linda to my knowledge Holly Hobbie was designed by an American lady. Fictional characters like Sarah Kay were created by an Australian designer and Miss Petticoat by an English designer. I haven't heard of Mary May, but I would imagine she is the name of a fictional character like the others.

The pictures sure are cute. I remember one of my first craft purchases was a set of Hobbytex markers and Holly Hobby prints.

Yep. Hobbie is actually the woman's last name.

Sarah Kay and Mary May are 2 separate companies.

Sarah Kay Stamps are available from the UK: Sarah Kay Stamps

As far as I know, Mary May never made any stamps. They did post cards and stationery over 40 years ago and I have seen nothing about them for years.
