I HATE ALL my Christmas cards!

I have been making 5-10 of one design and switching it up a few times a week. I still hate all of them I have made. Now I have scads of cards I don't want to send out because I hate them so much... what is it with this year? Oy.

You are probably just tired of making them. I'm not real thrilled of the first design I made either. I like the second set better, I like the third design even better. Give me a day or two and I'll dislike those also!

If you truly do hate the cards, donate to a local church to send to elderly, college kids, or members that are in the armed services. Send them to a nursing home, or send them to the troops. Someone else will just love what you have done.

I'm like that with all my cards. Then usually if I put them away for a while and take them back out, they grow on me. I know your crunched for time, so you can't store these till next year (or can you?) but I think we all go through it.... I know it easier said than done, but don't be so tough on yourself.

The people you send them to will probably love them. Don't make any more cards for now -- just get those in the mail ASAP and don't give them another thought. Then make some birthday cards or something to refresh your creative spirit.

I think I have learned to love my Christmas cards again. I have been trying to be all demonstratory about it and using only active stamps. I had to just go back to what I love- Shapes & Shadows and Happy Winter it is for the rest of my cards. I think I'll save the rest for a craft show I hope to attend next year. Thanks for all the advice!
