Default I found a natural archival OMS replacement

I have discovered a replacement for OMS. I know some of us do not want to use OMS because of the toxicity factor. Some of us have been looking for a replacement that is archival.

Lavender Spike Oil https://www.amazon.com/Chelsea-Classical-Studio-Lavender-Essence/dp/B00N1EFQGK/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=lavender+spike+oil&qi d=1594705268&sr=8-2

It has been used for centuries in oil painting and color pencil work. Comes highly recommended in the oil painting groups and the adult colorists groups.

It is pricey. I am sorry if I caused some of you sticker shock. I did buy a bottle and I hit submit super fast before I would change my mind.

Mods- If I put this in the wrong section. Early apologies.

Odourless Mineral Spirits, like Gamsol or Sansodor, used by cardmakers for blending colouring with pencils, but also commonly used when working with oil paints.

I received my bottle today. I am in love. I am very happy with it. Testing so far has been good. Hopefully, next week I can do a full project. The oil smells divine. Side Note- I am not affiliated at all. Just a girl who hates having toxic items in her art studio.

Anyone reading this is a different type of lavender oil. Using your own lavender essential oil will not have the same results. Spike Lavender is a different species from true lavender- Spike Lavender vs Lavender - What's the Difference? - HYSSES

I hope this helps for those looking for a professional alternative.

Your link didn’t work - maybe the ? at the end? Some first person accounts about it too. But this link may work?
