I'm not positive but I think it stands for "thanks for looking". I do know tfs means "thanks for sharing" so from that I'm guessing about tfl.

You're not the nerd! The people who made up all these abbreviations to confuse us are the nerds, lol.

LOL! I can usually figure them out eventually, but I saw one last week that still has me stumped! Now for the life of me, I can't remember what the letters even were! I haven't seen it since, so I'm thinking that chick just made it up to look smart.

You can't possibly be a nerd for not knowing that I ask questions here all the time, and everybody is super nice. There's nobody here who thinks you are a nerd

I have such a tough time figuring them out too.
I don't really use them so I am not too familiar with them. Maybe if I started using them I would learn them faster.

If it makes you feel better, I sent an email to my very nerdy DH with the subject line "home early today NFT" NFT=no further text, so you can just read the subject line and delete it. He emailed me back to say that I didn't write anything in the email before I sent it!

And I won't even tell you what I thought DH meant.

I'll bet you it was JMHO - just my humble opinion

Don't ever feel bad about asking stuff like that. There's thousands of us who are perfectly happy to help out!

Nope! It wasn't that one. I know that one, but I interchange humble with honest. Same dif.
