Ok, so this is my first post - I have been lurking for several months. But I just had to say -- I have owned the Paisley BG stamp since last year -- it was the first thing I ordered out of the new catalog. But then, it just sat there, unused for months and months and I kept thinking -- "wow, that was a purchasing mistake". I just couldn't figure out how to use it. I know that sounds silly. So, I have been so excited lately to see everyone's ideas! You all have turned my least used stamp into my new favorite! Thank you, thank you!

I, too, have resisted the Paisley background. (Buy Paisley) Now it's a "gotta have it". (Buy Paisley) Too much dang cute stuff to do with it. (Buy Paisley) It looks so much different (Buy Paisley) when you see it stamped with color. (Buy Paisley) It's the same (Buy Paisley) with the groovy lines stamp. (Buy Paisley) Always (Buy Paisley) better in color on (Buy Paisley) MY projects. (Buy Paisley) Thanks for listening. (Buy Paisley)

I do NOT need the paisley background stamp.

Canvas, Just Jeans, Filigree, and By Definition. All background stamps I NEVER would have bought except for seeing the kewl cards here on SCS. Now after this months DD gallery I think I have to add the paisley background stamp to my stamp club order next month.

I know, I know....Resistance is futile. I will be assimilated.

I tried to talk myself out of it too!! It didn't work so well -- it arrived yesterday and I had lots of fun playing with it last night!

Hope your willpower is better than mine!

I have my April wish list going so that i can make my next quarterly cause I've already ordered 3 times this month and to make myself feel better i'm beaking down and putting it on my list for April. I wasa chanting too don't need it. But it will for sure be a long 2 weeks to order it but i rather have it go towards next quarter. I'm being strong. I hope?

I'm not big on paisley per say, but, you gotta think bandana, and then it makes so much sence. This is one I wouldn't have put on my wish list but since finding SCS and all the cute ideas, I just have to have it. And, since then found out I have a friend who stamped her son's room with it and cowboy stamps and it is to adorable. Who would have thought SU! (I saw the son's bedroom before I even knew about SU)

Paisley?? YUK! GROSS!! That is the ugliest stamp in the catalog (well, besides the holiday cows IMO )!!! Why would anyone give it the time of day? Who would.....bother....ooooh, looky at the samples on SCS.....the paisley....it's so....desirable.....must have it.....NO, stop don't look it's nasty and ugly and soooo 70's.....but wait, look at the awesome monogramed stationary (great teacher gift)....look at the adorable easter baskets......go...now, add it to that small customer order that needed a little more to not pay $3.95 minimum shipping....you're saving your customer $$ on shipping.....do it, do it, get it now....OK FINE, ONCE AGAIN I GIVE IN!!! When are you guys going to start paying for this stuff you are MAKING me buy? Thanks again for helping me get rid of my money, hate to have a surplus ya know

This is it exactly! You guys are reading my mind! It is literally true that my coworker and I (another SCS junkie) just went through the same ' we don't need paisley' mantra yesterday! Come on! I haven't even had time to wear out my new canvas bg yet!!!

I'll still pass on the cat (LOVE the card though) I'm positive nothing will make me actually buy it. I see the allure but I DO NOT do cats!!!

Surely you still can afford to super size right or maybe add on a vanilla cone just to make it special??

Yup - the girls made me order Paisley also!! And trust me - I'm not a Paisley kind of girl!! I also had to mention that I was at my LSS tonight with the Pine Cone Book Club group - and I mentioned Paisley. They all oohed and aahed - and a few said that they had been seeing more Paisley and hearing that it was "in" now. So it is everywhere - there is no escaping - Paisley wantts in and we can't fight it!!

So wouldn't you all just LOVE to know what the next set is that everyone is going to HAVE to buy because of the SCS samples! C'mon, tell us now so we can get it on the order with our paisley stamp.

Or should we just grab even the very set we hate the most because it is going to turn up to die for next month! They probably sold like 10 paisley stamps before these samples came out and now it will become a best seller. We'll have pages of a variety of paisleys in the new catalog because it became so popular. You trendsetters you... my children don't need to eat this week...I have to have paisley.

What a crack up!

Yes, paisley - who would have thunk?

My daughter really dislikes paisley prints but this was one of her first picks when the catalog came out last year. I must admit I have not yet broken down and made the purchase

Maybe this month.

I am NOT going to buy Paisley!!! I am NOT going to buy Paisley!!! I promised DH and if I break that I might not get to order all the neat stamps that might be in the new catty in July So how about if someone sends me a couple pieces of it for a "trial" run... if it is in the new IB&C I will buy it!!

Paisley, I think, should be classified as a "Good thing".

Have FUN with it!

Or better yet, maybe SU should hire some of us to monitor this site and let them know what's going on. Heaven knows "some" of us spend enough time here, we could do a pretty darn good job!

Here's a card I made in January at a class at my local scrapbook store. It uses the new Anna Griffin Paisley paper.

I'm not sure why I still haven't ordered Paisley Prints, but it is next on my list.
