Default I did it!! (Plus Organization Ideas!)

YEAH!! I finally finished stamping every stamp, punching every punch, nesting every nestie, and embossing every embossing folder! My DH even contributed to the cause by buying four pretty binders for me. I got the page protectors on clearance-they are nice heavy-duty ones and I used over 100 of them. I started last Monday, and spent at least 3 full days on it, plus a good solid chunk of the rest of the days. And pretty sure I now have a repetitive stress injury with my stamping shoulder, but it was worth it! Here is the grand reveal:

Sentiment Sets
Cuttlebug Dies
Nestie Index
Nestie Index in Action (plus a bit of the "Valentines" page)
Nestie Cheats
Punch Index (if you look through the top windows, you can also see I have a page for my border and corner punches)
Everything!

My hints:
Start now!

For sets, pull all the category sheets that you will be using for a particular set. If using clear stamps, pull out all your blocks and use them all to put your stamps on (I even used both sides of the blocks). Stamp all of them onto the company set. Then go through each category page and stamp applicable stamps. Clean your stamps, then go through and label your category pages with the stamp set code (I used company initials & number-I only put the full set name on the company page). This turned out to be the quickest way for me to do it. Also, don't get too crazy trying to fit stamps into every square inch of paper, or else it will be too jumbled for you to really appreciate what you have.

I also made a window sheet for each set of nesties and used the "leftover" nesties as my new nestie cheats. The directions are in my gallery post.

All I can say is "WOW"! What a feat you have completed. Want to come over to my house and do it all for me now? Just kidding. You did a great job and it all looks so wonderful. The only tiny, little thing that I would have done differently, would be to have written the sizes of the hearts, circles and squares punches on them. That way you will know what you are looking at. Like I said, just one small, tiny thing. I love what you have done, and when I get finished cleaning up the mess in my crafting room, maybe I will be able to find some time to do what you did. All it takes is time and organization. Congratulations to you for finding both.

Happy stamping days ahead!

Good idea! Very easy to go back and add that.

Thank you everyone for the compliments. Now my only problem is I want to use every thing I have on every card.

Oh, my gosh! You have been busy! I started indexing mine last week. I'm putting mine on 6x6 pages, just because I'm weird about alphabetizing. I like the bigger size for an all-together big huge record. Thanks for sharing your ideas, and I'm glad you finished a monstrously large project!

Forgot to add...remember you don't have to be OCD like me and try to finish the project all at once. Maybe once you finish a card, do the index sheet for the stamp sets you used. Or do 2 or 3 sets every day. It may take some of you a year that way, but you know what they say, a year's going to pass by anyway! Good luck to all that are starting out and be sure to show us your completed projects!

Or an even easier and a lot faster method to make the binder is to use a scanner or copier. You can arrange the stamps exactly as you would if you stamp them, but you don't have to clean each one. When I did my binder it was much easier to scan rather than stamp.
