I can't take it anymore. I have to ask. What is "case

I know it's got to be an acronym for something, but I can't figure it out. I kept thinking I'd find something somehwere that would tip me off and I'd get it, but I haven't! I'm sure this question gets asked once a week ... what is "CASED"? (I'm guessing ..... "copied and ......" something else???)
