I can't keep up with reading all my favorite blogs. There are too many awesome ones and you blog stampers are so incredibly prolific! It is so frustrating. Having to earn a living and take care of my family is definitely a drag!! LOL
Keep stamping and keep blogging -- I'll get to you eventually!

Google Reader is your answer. Sort of. Helps you keep up with who's posted recently instead of checking the same blogs over and over waiting for someone to post something new. I just jumped in yesterday and am a total conver. Now finding extra time between kids, stamping, laundry, blogs and work ... can't help you there.
I use Internet Explorer 7 and I LOVE it! I use it to subscribe to the blog's feed and it shows me which ones have been updated by listing it in BOLD letters. I just click on the blog name and it takes me there. It's easy to keep up with everyone's blogs that way.

Google Reader doesn't help me at all! It just makes it easier to read more blogs. LOL! I make it easier for my readers by only posting once a week. ;)
 I like your technique to help us out!
I do subscribe to 3 blogs and it makes it easy just reading them with my email. Then I have a whole bunch saved to my favorites that I hop on when I can but it's probably two weeks before I hit them all. I know I am missing a ton but even as a SAHM...I never have enough time!!
That was the nice thing about when just SCS existed...it was all here in one place. Ah...the good 'ol days!
Me toooooooo!!!! I am lovin getting to know people thru their blog. There is so much amazing material out there. And you women are simply blowing my mind with your wit, wisdom, and talent. Keep up the good work bloggers we love it.

I'm with you Joan. When Splitcoastbloggers first started, I was able to keep up but not any more. I just check 3-4 favorites each day and then try to click on some I don't normally check to see what's going on.
I wonder how long most bloggers will be able to continue the high volume production. I cannot imagine the commitment it must involve--I wouldn't be able to do anything else but create and blog about it were I a blogger! So I think it will slow down to a more reasonable level of new entries and amount of blogs that can actually maintain themselves over time. I too miss the good old days of just SCS, though I am just heading back that way myself anyhow.

Try subscribing to their blogs and have their updates delivered right to your email inbox. That's what I do. I would NEVER be able to keep up without it! That's why I offer it as an option on my blog, cuz it's such a convenience!
Hang in there, once you get it together, it will be easier! Have fun surfing!
Yeah I feel your pain, and I'm always discovering new ones to visit. I cannot keep up either so I just end up visiting just a few on a really regular basis. I need to start using Google Reader too.

I spend a lot of time browsing thru blogs and am addicted. I'm so glad I have a laptop so I can sit with hubby, watch tv and browse the blogs at night.
I have lots of faves that I check every day or so and the others I randomly check in about once a week or so.
Following links from blog to blog can be very addicting too.
Can someone explain google reader to me? I'm subscribed to a few blogs but not many.
I love reading stamping blogs, but there are so many good ones I don't have a "regular" list to visit.
The only blog I visit regularly is Yarn Harlot (www.yarnharlot.ca/blog)- and that's a knitting blog (I check it everyday - the woman is hilarious)

Google Reader allows you to "subscribe" to blogs you want to read. It lists them all, and shows a 'preview' of the blog. Then, when there's a new post (or three or six) to each blog you've listed, Google Reader will tell you that the blog is updated. That way, you can read the ones you know have updated. If you can't get to them all, they'll stay 'unread' until you read them.
has anyone tried Bloglines? That's what I use and I really, really love it. I'm assuming its pretty much the same thing as Google Reader, but was wondering if anyone had tried both and which they liked better. I LOVE blogs, and currently have 72 on my bloglines. I just leave bloglines up in a browser tab, and it updates throughout the day. I occassionally pop on over, read what's new and then continue with whatever else I'm doing (of course, I also work in front of my computer, so that helps)....
Anyway, wanted to say that Bloglines is pretty cool, and updates VERY quickly! Might want to check it out!
