Check out this thread.

There really is scientific proof that crafting is good for your brain, mood, and overall mental health.

We may dress like hobos, eat cheap food, and work for one reason and one reason only, but I think the men and women of SCS must be the most mentally healthy group in the world today.

I'm feeling better already. Thanks, everyone!

Yes, I do enjoy it here....but, you are right...it's a chilly place in the winter! In a couple more weeks though, the trees will be beautiful!

lol
I busted out laughing when I read this!

Okay, to the OP:
Sooooooo many times I'll tell myself I have enough stamps for the rest of my life, but I recently went to a stamp convention and spent $80 the first day. At one vendor ( http://rubberstampconcepts.com/ ), I loved soooooooo many of their images, but kept reminding myself that they were unmounted rubber (and not clear like I prefer) and that I was NOT going to buy any more!! The first day I spent $65 just on them. I went again to the convention the next day and bought all the rest of the stamp sets that I had put back the first day (bought another $45 worth, JUST with that one company!!). Yikes!! I fell off the wagon HARD on those two days, and am still trying to recover financially.

Honey, if you mean what I think you mean, I suggest begging outside stamps stores instead. Much less messy.

i have the same problem .....how could i ever need one more thing? then i see that ONE more thing and have to have it ! sometimes i leave the sales receipt clipped to an unopened set just to make me feel like i could return it if i wanted or needed to. after 2 weeks of sitting there, i feel sorry for the set and take it out and let it breathe ! then it gets to live in a shiny new CD case

i had to get more CD cases at walmart last week....and i found a great CD rack at a thrift store 1/2 price. yep, with the $$ i saved i got another stamp set.

it is comforting to know i am not alone ......
