Bellingham is a couple of hours north of Seattle, so probably a bit far away... But it IS a pretty drive to get there!

I saw that on their site! I was kind of bummed out because that was the closest one to my hotel too. However, when I was in Portland, OR a few weeks ago some of the ladies at the stores I visited there told me the Impress location in Tukwila was the one to see.
I will keep you all posted of my adventures!

Impress Tukwila is PARADISE
The Impress Tukwila location is PARADISE!! Allow yourself an hour, at the very least! And take a few minutes to look through their latest 'brochure';
Impress Classes/New Products <---click! and then you'll see the link for the PDF brochure. You might be able to catch one of their classes this weekend.
And it's been suggested that you email Linda from A Muse, because she likes to meet A-Muse-a-holics at the store, if possible.
I'm taking notes for my next visit to Seattle!
Oh, and Treasury of Memories is a scrapbooking/stamping store in Bellingham, WA which looks sooooo good!! And Stampadoodle is another Bellingham store on my wishlist...if I ever make it up there.

The Impress in Tukwila is in the samle little stip mall as Paper Zone which you'll have to check out too. I think I already PM'd you this tip about the Paper Zone. Impress is great for the stamps but paperzone will have lots of fun things to stamp on and cool embelsihments. they have stamps too but it doesn't hold a candle to the Impress store.
I was just at the Bell Square Impress on Friday and found the cutest little 2007 Calendars I'm going to use to make little desk calendars for my customers.

Sarah - yes, thank you for your PM regarding the Paper Zone, I am going to check out their locations
Avonlea - I will definitely email Linda @ AMuse. I am so crazy about their stamps, I am almost sure I am going to just faint when I get there LOL!
I am sooooooooo excited!!!
Thank you all for your tips/comments!

We were in Seattle yesterday for my daughter's 5th birthday and we drove past a small store named "Monkey Love Rubber Stamps" in lower Queen Anne. It was closed, but looked interesting. My husband works in the neighborhood and told me he had avoided telling me about it

It's supposed to be gorgeous this weekend (but pretty cold)! If you are a fan of baseball (think MARINERS!) you may be able to score a pass to our Fan Fest!
Up north in Lynnwood (~15 miles) is a fabulous scrapbook store, Lasting Memories, and nearby is a fairly decent stamp store.

This store has been there (under one name or another) since I lived on Queen Anne as a kid (yikes over 20 years ago!) Some of my customers who live at Bayview Mannor (a retirement home about 2 blocks away) say they don't like the store because it's so over priced with a limited selection. I haven't ventured in but they are all a bit on the cranky side of old if you know what I mean.

Oh lucky you! I went to Seattle last year on a business trip with my hubby. The Impress store in Tukwila is to die for. I think I spent 2 hours in there and then went to Paper Zone. I so want to go back. Have a great time and take an empty suitcase!

I'm so jealous! I was born in Seattle, but now live in Oregon...I go up there as often as I can, especially for Mariner's games. I always seek out the stamp shops! Have a blast!

Do not miss Make an Impression just minutes from Seattle in Issaquah. One of my favorite stamp stores in the US and I have been in many. I also love the Mad Scrapper just down the block on the other side of the street. I like all 3 Impress stores and each seems to have a little different in what they stock. Monkey Love is SO much fun!! It is downtown. Do NOT miss A Muse!!!!

I was going to say the same thing...Make an Impression is soooo worth seeing. Their shop is huge!
Just a suggestion is you want to visit the most stores in one drive...head to the eastside. In Bellevue at Bellevue Square is Impress and then across the street, in Lincoln Square is Paper Source....they have some stamps and paper too. Then head over to Redmond, this is the home of the other Rubber Soul, which is in Redmond Town Center. I love this store! Oh yeah...while in Redmond, its a must stop at Ben Franklin! This store is super...they have stamps, scrapbooking, beads, fabric and all kinds of crafting things Next go up to Issaquah and check out Make an Impression and The Mad Scrapper. If you're up to it you can stop by Paperzone in Issaquah or in the Overlake area of Bellevue.

Stampadoodle
You may not have "free" time enough to visit Bellingham, but in case you come this way again, check out Stampadoodle. It's a fun place and right next door is (another) Paper Zone store.

I'll have to second that. We went up for our anniversary back in 1998 and it was impressive THEN. I can only imagine it, too, has improved with age! LOL!

Lisa, You can come visit me, I only live a three hour drive from Seattle and we have sun 300 days of the year! (My husband actually makes a living from the sun! Well, water and wind, too.)
I just had to post so I can go check out all these stores myself! I can't believe I live only three hours away and haven't been to any of them!!!

GOOD TIMES in Seattle!!
I am back from my trip! I honestly only had about 4 hours to go shopping while I was in Seattle, so I made the most of it. Here's where I went:
AMuse - LOVE this store!!! Soooooooooo cute!!! Stamps everywhere, tons of paper goodies, inks, YUMMY RIBBON, embellishments, punches......and many creative cards on display. Linda had left just before I got there so I didn't get an opportunity to meet her - but the girls in the store are super nice!
Impress Rubber Stamps - Tukwila location - WOW!!!! HUGE store! Tons & tons of stamps (Memory Box turned out to be my favorite), paper, cardstock, Fresh Ink (pigment ink, can't wait to try it!), more YUMMY RIBBON!!! They also have tons of embellishments, paper goods/crafts, etc. Super nice staff as well.
Paper Zone - right next door to Impress - very cool paper goods store! Tons of patterned paper, various weight paper, envies galore, some stamps/ink/ribbon.
Didn't get to Rubber Soul or any of the other places mentioned from you all, but I figure I can save that for the next trip!
Cannot wait to play with my new toys!!!!!! I will say my suitcase & carry on were a lot heavier coming back from Seattle then when I left Philly!!!
Thanks again for all the tips, etc.
 Anne
