I just turned around and there my birthday was again. I REALLY feels like just yesterday that I left CA to move here. It is unbelievable how fast time flies the older you get.

I had never noticed that! How funny! For one, I wasn't born yet and two, where were my parents hiding this internet thing for all those years!

Aaaah - but 'technically speaking' the Internet WAS around back then...just not in the form we have grown to love (and loath all at the same time!) It was government thing.

Ah, yes, a government thing! Now I see! I still could have used it when I ws trying to do research for that darn College Prep English Lit Class! The library is only as good as the books that it holds! No, I'm not still bitter....I swear...I'm not!

And the Internet is only as good as your ability to find what you want out there. I always find it amazing when I'm teaching students how to use the Internet that they really have little idea on how to find what they need. They actually think that yahoo can meet all their searching needs!

Where's a card catalog when you need it? Or the Reader's Guide to Periodicals?!
Ok, I'm old!
