Default how to store cards

Does anyone have a good way to store cards? I like to keep an album of the cards (for future reference) I've made but can't seem to find a good way to do it. They end up all over the place! I was thinking maybe a photo album with plastic covers or something like that. Any advice is welcomed!

I bought a couple of the photo boxes from Michaels, when they were cheap, and put my cards in there to take to workshops. I have a 'clothes line' on my walls and use clothes pins to hang my cards for my class at home.
I put most of my cards in clear plastic bags to protect them.

Thanks for asking the question. I, too, would like to hear how people store their cards. Right now mine are in ziploc baggies in a drawer.

Default Storing Cards

I use a recipe box. (accordian style) The kind that stretches real wide. I use the colored tabs to organize the category. ie: thank you, get well, birthday, etc. You could also use the photo storage boxes for each category. On the front plate of the box, label what kind of cards are in it.

I also use photo storage boxes from Michaels. I have several, one for birthdays, holidays etc. One for Thanks and tHinking of you. And one for cards received so I canget inspired by them. Then are the perfect size to hole a "regular" card.

There was a discussion about that last week too. Here is the link where people talked about storing them in sleeves that fit in a binder.

Some one gave me 2 hard plastic cases that are suppose to be for photos. They have dividers so I index them by occassion. The case has a carrying handle. This might not work for someone who has tons of cards but it is fine for me right now.

I bought a bunch of clear envelopes from Stampendous (100 for $6 I think) and store them in a wicker lined basket. It is easy to flip through the cards to find what I want. I don't seal the envelopes and it makes it easy to slide them in and out.

Default target

Right now there are cute little tubs at Target in the dollar spot. They fit cards standing up "file like" exactly right. I bought enough to sort my cards into occasion and I LOVE them. The following pic is what they look like.

This is definitely the cheap way to go, but I'm a beginner...I store my cards in shoe boxes from my daughter -- I have a toddler who wears a size 7, and I find her empty shoe boxes are just the right size for my collection (right now, anyway!!)

i use the Crop In Style PSB(Ppaer Sticker Binder) and bought the quarter sheet refills. the cards and 6x6 scrapbook pages fit great and don't fall out. best of all the binder zippers shut and has a handle and clips to attach a strap. so it's almost like a portfolio. i will post pictures.
