Default How to price at a bulk rate?

[FONT="TrebI made cards as a gift for the Principle at my child's elementary school. She absolutely loved them and approached me about making 1 card in particular in sets of 8 to 10 for each of her 35 staff members for Christmas 2007.

Here's my do I come up with a price for possibly 280 - 350 cards?

I had sold some sets to my family members for 10/$10 (cards and envelopes) but from what I've been reading here....I'm thinking I might be underselling myself.

The card she wants mass produced is white with a 1 inch strip of black in the middle, then a piece red of ribbon held on with glue and a brad at each end. Then in the middle is a square punch (3 actually) layered, black/red/white, with a paw print stamped on the white. School colors and mascot. I had stamped little paws on the red ribbon, but I'm thinking that might not be an option for so many!

I did get one piece of advice I'm definately going to do and that is a deposit, so I can pay for the supplies from that.

Any suggestions are very welcomed!

Can you get a group to help you with this...folks who do good work? Is there a parent's club that could help?
Don't know about pricing..I was going to suggest $1 per each card. For sure ask for the cost of supplies, at least , up front.
