I only have about 10 or so rolls. I use it mostly to hold down dies. I found one technique for using washi that I really liked -- you put down stripes of complementary tape and then die cut a shape. Your shape then has beautiful stripes.

Here's a nice example:

There are some really nice ways to use washi tape, but they don't come to me naturally. Pinterest has a ton of great inspiration.
Oh my goodness! I clicked on this link...dangerous! So adorable!!! haha

My stash is holding at probably 600, and no, I'm not about to count them. I store them on jewelry containers, usually 125 rolls in each. We have emptied probably 30 rolls. I don't keep doubles.

We use them on cards, envelopes, and scrapbook pages. I've gathered my peeps and we do a "washi day" where we make card front bases to finish later. It's a fun, no-hassle day, since there's no rules and customers /friends can create as many as they want. When they get a design they really like, others copy it for themselves.

I'm NOT adding (much) to my stash, unless I would find some nice brown washi tape. Ever notice they're lacking browns?

And no, we aren't hoarding it, we're using...unlike my stash of designer papers! Someone start a thread on that!

Kudos for using it, and I think you’re the winner!
I’d love to see a picture of the jewelry containers you store them in, and picture of some of your backgrounds!

Same for me! I just bought some new "rings" I found at a Scrap Store in Knoxville to put the Washi on so I could "hang" by my desk. I really like having it out. I too use it all the time. It makes great little pops of color for cards, scrapping, my planner, sealing envelopes, adding to inside of cards, holding dies ...

I'm definitely going to try the technique for die-cutting it too! TFS

Got into washi tape a bit late in life so approx 2.5 years ago. I went and counted just now I have 58 rolls. Pink is the color I have the most of. Multicolored florals/leaves are second in quantity. I have 2 that I re-purchased. I use washi on cards , in letters, in journals,in junk journals, to make tags, make things I see on Pinterest.
Places I bought washi tape from are House of [email protected] AliExpress, Uguisustore, Paperchase, Washi Wednesday and SweetSuppliesStore on Etsy.

I was inspired by all of this to use my Washi tape. I saw a card on Pinterest where someone die cut a large bird with Washi tape. I started pulling out dies, and started with my balloons. I haven’t made them into a card yet, but here are some Washi hot air balloons.

One of our cats gets two liquid medicines daily and they're in the same size bottle, so I put washi tape around one (cat, top and bottom) so we don't have to read the bottle every time. Dosage is more for one than the other, so it's important to keep them straight.

Ha Ha, bjeans. The way this is worded it sounds like you put the washi tape around the cat, top and bottom!

Hahaha!! Oh, you gave me my first laugh of the weekend, THANK YOU! (Husband had surgery Friday.) That was supposed to say CAP, top and bottom!

But come to think of it, one of the cats (tuxedo black and white) could look cute with...
; )
