Default how many differant stamps did you use at 1 time to make 1 card or scrapbook page.

Not sure if this question has ever been asked before.
How many differant stamps not from the same set but differant sets or single stamps have you used on 1 card alone.

And if you have a sample can you please post it here.

I'm curious to see who used the most and how you used them all to work together on 1 card/or/scrapbook page.

My sister -in -law is a card /scrapbooker like myself.

I want to make a very unique christmas card this year for her with a lot of differant stamps but from all differant sets, to show her how I can use them all in 1 card. But also if she can figure it out how many differant sets I used to create her card.

I think it would be a fun challenge.

Not sure if the challenge group of girls ever did this before.

I don't know if my SIL cased this page from here or elsewhere, but she told me she copied the idea from somewhere. This page uses A LOT of different stamps.

It varies for me. I keep some stamps separate just for scrapping, like Office Accoutrement, journaling stamps, travel stamps, school stamps. My alphas are also all together and almost never used on cards...they are scrapping supplies to me.

Cool idea for your sister. I've used all sorts of stamps over journaling line stamps. Good luck!

I've stamped paper with every stamp that I have that says Thanks, Thank You, With Gratitude etc.... and then used it as background paper for cards before. I just kept grabbing the thanks stamps, and different color inks, and it made an adorable word collage paper. They were all different fonts, but since the words all stuck to the same theme I think it worked out well. Sadly, I don't have any pictures of how it turned out.

But on this card I used 3 different Stamp companies.

And

Masking Ewe! by jeanstamping2 at Splitcoaststampers

I think maybe I should use more than one stamp company one my cards.

Okay, how about this one:

Wouldn't it be simpler...

It uses Loads of Love, Lovely as a Tree, Home is Where the Haunt is, Simple Shapes, Whimsical Alphabet, Rough Edges Alphabet, Classic Alphabet.

It think the main image is a great exemple of how you can use masking to create a little scene and how to modify images to make them work for your project. Here, I transformed the truck from Loads of Love into a convertible! I also used the squares from Simple Shapes to create the road.

I did a scrapbook page but this could easily be adaptable to a card.

I usually use 1 set on a card. On a scrapbook layout the main stamps would be from one set, but I may add an alphabet, journal stamp and maybe an extra flourish stamp.

I usually work with an average of 3-4 images, depending on the complexity of the design.

Pulling off a good/strong design while simultaneously using as many different stamps from as many different sets as possible would indeed be a considerable design challenge!

Good luck!

I actually have a very difficult time using just ONE stamp set on a card (unless it is a very simple, last-minute, un-creative card). Using just one stamp set for a card requires a discipline and restraint that doesn't come naturally to me! On my average card, I have about three different sets - one for the main image, one for the sentiment, and one for the background, all from different sets (usually from different companies as well).

I did this same thing for a card swap! I did "thank" from I think 9 different sets in different color blues. Then I did a large "U". I don't have a picture on this computer, and I'm not at home. If I remember I'll post a picture on Monday.

Here's a Christmas card I made with different sets:
Beary Christmas by SophieLaFontaine at Splitcoaststampers
It has 3 different SU! sets and then stamps from four other companies.

On thinking about this more, I've realized that I use so many stamps because I don't use decorative paper. I use stamps to create my own decorative paper, so that is one way to increase the number of different stamp sets that you can use on a card.

It depends on the subject/theme of the card/LO I'm doing, and also on what stamps I have. I think the most I've used at one time was four, and it was a a mixture of different sets.

I used the photo wallet to make a card for a friend's combined Anniversary & Birthday.

I used 8 stamps from 7 different sets and 2 or 3 companies.
