Default How to emboss just the center

I want to use my embossing folder and just emboss a circle portion of the embossing folder and leave the rest of the card stock plain. I know how to make the center plain and the outer area embossed. I guess I'm having one of those days. Any help. Thanks ~~~~

Cut some circles - the size of the embossed circles that you want - from cereal boxes or chipboard and glue them together. Then use this instead of one of your plates. KWIM?

Question: Do the chipboard circles go on the outside of the folder? I assume yes.

I used my Spellbinders circle die and cut out six cereal box circles.... Followed your directions turned out fabulous!!!!!! I used the all over snowflake embossing folder. Thanks so much. That's why we love SCS. ~~~~Carol
