Default Hot Air Balloon Stamps

Please tell me that I wont get hooked on the Hot Air Balloon stamps. I am really loving them and my husband's cousin even has a real hot air balloon. I cant get hooked - I just cant.

BUT...I am going to Kansas City next weekend and they have wonderful scrap/stamp stores. So you know what that means! However Riley playing poker is on the top of my shopping list!

Do you think the balloons are going to be a hug craze like cupcakes?

they are everywhere. Papercrafts magazine has a huge spread on them this month.

they look trendy to me. Meaning I wouldn't get more than one, but then again, I don't have any!! If you love them and can afford them, buy them and use them!

I have one set, PTI's Up, Up and Away. It's awesome and I think you'll get a lot of use out of it: Papertrey Ink - Up, Up & Away Stamp Set

I've made cards using hot air balloons stamped on one of my cloud photographs and creating a desert scene. Stamp A Mania has hot air balloons and I think B & J's Art Stamps has some also. Dee Gruenig has some nice ones but those might be hard to find.

I think it's the whole "Steampunky" theme, so that might make them a craze. Who knows? But here is one I could not resist ordering...

Oh ladies, I've been trying to resist these stamps and now you have given me places to order them. I've been trying to be so good too.

Boy I had no idea they were "hot". I remember purchasing a set from Unity a couple years ago and that was it. I guess I've been living in a box lately. LOL

There is a thread in the buy/sell forum where someone is offering several hot air balloon stamps. I don't remember the name of the seller. When I read this it came to mind and I thought I'd pass the info along.
