Default Hospice Christmas Tree

Hi folks,
I'm new on this board but I'd like to ask you to donate at least 1 handmade card for our local Hospice. The cards need to be here no later than 11/22. We will decorate the tree on December 1.
Each year Hopice in our town has a Christmas tree silent auction to raise money. Each tree is donated & decorated by individuals as well as businesses. Several years ago we were asked to decorate a tree. Since my sister & I own a scrapbook store we tried to come up with an unique idea. I came up with making a Greetings Tree ( cards that people could use instead of manufactured greeting cards). That year Susan & I made over 300 cards of various themes. We had a great response, each year since, Hospice has asked us to do another tree for last several years we have been so busy that we haven't been able to do it. But this year I said YES. I started to think what a great idea it would be if I could get others from all over the country to participate also. So here I am, asking that each of you make at least 1 card & envelope that we can add to the tree. You can send as many cards as you'd like the more the merrier!!! Maybe if we get enough cards we can cover a 7' tree. Last time we used a 4' tree.
The cards can be for any thing from friend to whatever!!!
The trees are bid on then Hospice will deliver the trees to the highest bidders. The bidding will go on for 3 days.
There some really beautiful trees.
I hope to get lots of pictures and will let everyone see them.
Thanks if you have any more questions please let me know.!!

I'll be glad to answer any questions just email me.
Thank You,
Sandy Smith

Default Hospice Tree

Please count me in. Hospice ppl were my Angels as I cared for my terminally ill mother, father and brother. They helped me save my sanity. It is a wonderful organization and I don't think they get the Kudo's they deserve!!!! Please feel free to email me and let me know the details.
Thanks for the opportunity to give a little something back.
