Hey all you Illinoisians, wasn't it great when we met in Lincoln on April 2. Sue did such a fantastic job organizing the event and the cards were awesome as well. As announced/promised I am beginning to gather information or organize our next event. Moving the location might prohibit some people from attending who were in Lincoln but it might also enable others who couldn't drive that distance.
I need a bit of feed-back as to which date might be good. I am looking at August 6 or August 13, time would probably be 10 - 4 here in downtown Mahomet, IL located a mere 9 miles west of Champaign on Hwy 74.
Post your preference here and at the end of a week or so we will probably go with majority rules and also of course if the facility is available. Right now I am looking at an alternate site as well.
The Lincoln gathering was wonderful! I will be in Mahomet!! Let me know what you decide. I would prefer the 13th, but am available either one as of right now.

I just wanted to pop in and say HI! I am in NC right now since my dh is in the Marine Corps,but I grew up in Bloomington! We are suppose to be home at the end of May and I can't wait. Ok back to your regularly schedualed thread. LOL

Just remembered that my future sister in law might want to join us. I told her she could stay at our place if she wanted to drive down for the event. She loved all the stuff we made last time!

I guess I should have said we will only be home for about 2 weeks in May/June. We are here in NC for another year and a half at least then its off to who knows where? We try to get to IL at least once a year. I miss fall so much, that is my favorite season and with the MC we seem to have to live in very HOT places with little to no change of seasons. Have fun at your next stamp day!

So far it looks like the 13th is the majority. I am meeting with planners next week Wednesday to make the final date/time/place. :-)
Keep responding and pass word around to everyone since these tend to get buried in the pile.

I am so sorry it took so long to reply. JUST GOT BACK FROM COSTA RICA!!!!! We had such a great time. Anyways, I will not be able to attend. That is a little far for me to go for a day trip. I will keep watching this thread just to keep up on all of you though.

Well thank you all for your much needed prayers!!!!! There are about 8 guys/girls going from his office alone on this deployment spread out allover Iraq. The prayers are much appreciated! Please keep them lifted up.

I am thinking we might have it under control here in Mahomet. Several ladies from the Lincoln shoebox will be helping me. I will definately get more information out next week.
