Question Hemp Twine or Linen Thread

Which would you prefer to tie onto a card as a rustic accent?

The hemp is more rustic, has a rougher texture to it. The linen thread is much finer and has a uniform texture. I personally like the thread better, but the hemp may go better with your rustic card.

I agree with jenny4wheel that the hemp is more rustic. Both are fabulous accents on masculine or "not-so-feminine" cards. The hemp is just more rough.

Hemp all the way! I swear I am addicted to it. I use it all the time on my cards. I see the linen thread more for use with buttons. That's just me!

Personally, I like the linen thread better because I think it's easier to work with (and less bulky). But the hemp is better in some cases, depending on the look you are wanting.

I use both, but I think the thread is much easier to work with. The hemp is bulky and at times but I agree that it is a nice rustic touch.

I like them both. It depends on what I am using them for and what look I'm trying to achieve.

Default Hemp or thread

I love the linen thread! For those who say they use the hemp a lot could you let me know how you do it? I have trouble taping down the cardstock over the hemp, it seems to leave a line. Please let me know how you do it, I love the look!
Thanks!
Debbie

I don't have either yet, but for me it'd depend on what rest of the card is like and colors etc.
