Default Helpful website for choosing fonts

I don't know how helpful this may be for the rest of you, but it's a site that I use often. I frequently use the Cricut to write the sentiment on the inside or outside of my cards when I don't have the appropriate one in a stamp. So I'm thinking that for those of you who don't use a Cricut, maybe you use your computer and printer to write the sentiments for your cards if you don't have a stamp.

Anyway, most of us probably have dozens of fonts on our computers, and it can be tedious trying to figure out exactly which one would work best for a particular card, or for anything else you may be doing that requires choosing a font. With this website, you can type in some sample text, and see it written out in every font you have on your computer. Genius! And it just saves sooooo much time and effort. Here you go. Wordmark.it - Helps you choose fonts Enjoy~

There are also free programmes for your PC to do this with, off the top of my head, Printers Apprentice and Font Fitting room spring to mind. But it's great to have a website that you don't have to install! Thanks for this bluerambler.

That is very useful! Thanks! Back in the day just for letter writing I did a hard copy version of this-I printed out the alpha in every font...you can get 5 fonts on a page or more depending on size. Don't ask me where that is now....

Yes, I had done the same thing. The advantage of this website is that you can see the exact text you want to print, instead of just a sample. And you don't have to try to remember where you put the print-out! I can't tell you how many times I've used this site since I came across it. It also has a feature set up so that if you click on each font you think might work, then you can go back and compare them side by side at the end. It really comes in handy!

Amazing share! I'm a bit of a font junkie, so this will be super helpful in narrowing down options (too many and I freeze, so anything that contributes to a thaw is beyond welcome). Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! That is awesome! I added the extension, but did not sync with Chrome. They don't need access to all my passwords, etc...

I have over 2700 fonts on my computer... that's a lot of pages!

I use NexusFont to keep my fonts organized... well they were organized once upon a time before I changed computers. But NexusFont allows you to add tags to your fonts, not view all at once, categorize, view sample text, etc. It's pretty great for a free download.
