Please help me I am looking for some ideas on using vellum on cards-- I want something that is just a bit different-- I have tried to look in the gallery and searched for vellum but didn't really find a lot--so if anybody can help me with ideas I would really appreciate it. I took some watercolor paper and stamped some medium sized flowers around the edge and watercolored them in, making sure to leave room in the middle of the card for a saying.

Then I printed a Christmas saying on the vellum and adhered it to the bottom layer with a wide satin ribbon. I'm sorry I don't have a picture, but it came out nice! I got the idea from one of Dave Brethauer's books.

You can also dry emboss vellum. Stamp an image onto the vellum and make sure it is dry, color in, and then run a stylus over the edge of the image.

Vellum also can make a nice pocket on a card.

Try searching the gallery with both vellum and velum. I've seen both listed in descriptions in the past. Eileen
