Default HELP...

I know there is a thread somewhere, but...

I've been stamping and my hands are stained with ink. We are going out to dinner in a couple of hours, and soap just isn't doing the trick. Any suggestions?

TIA!

Uh oh, you may have to hide your hands at the table! This happened to me last week and it takes a while to wear off. I would love to know if there is a trick too. Hairspray actually lightened it a little. Good luck and have enjoy your dinner!!!

Hey Christine,

Have your tried Stampin' Mist? I've used alcohol on various types of inks and markers.

Melissa

Oh, I DO mean rubbing alcohol! If you use other forms of alcohol you probably won't care about the ink on your hands.

Thanks, Skrap and Melissa. I'll try the rubbing alcohol and leave the good stuff for dinner!

Melissa, I'm SO envious that you live in Germany! I miss it so much. We lived there for 4 years. We were stationed at Sembach AB. My oldest daughter was born at Landstuhl. We hope to take our daughters there sometime before they go to college. We have a few years!

Again, thanks for the suggestions.

Hi
Try baby wipes... the cheeper the better I find. They also get the ink off the outside of your ink pads. ( When I was a day care provider I always had a box of wipes handy to clean up those markers!!! and by accident, I found out that they work on stampin up ink somewhat.)

I actually have used a bit of watered down bleach to get mine clean in a hurry. I do alot of sponging and tend to get very messy.
