Default Help! New stamper is confused by Alphabet stamps!

I was wondering if anyone of you brilliant ladies could help me with my problem. I am trying to use alpha stamps for the first time and I tried eyeballing but they came out crooked so I tried the stamp postioner and it still came out crooked! I could get the first letter but the letters there after we either to close or just plain ole wacky! I did just have a birthday so my eyes might be crooked too! LOL

I thought I might be using the stamp positioner wrong but would love anyone or everyone's help!!!!!!

Are you using the plastic imaging sheet? You put it up against the inside corner of the positioner, stamp the image onto the plastic (also putting the wood block up against the inside corner), then use the plastic sheet to position the image where you want it to appear on your cardstock. Put the positioner up against the imaging sheet again, remove the imaging sheet, then stamp the image again. It will show up in the same place as the image on the sheet!

Someone posted a great step-by-step with pictures somewhere in here a while back...
