Default Help! The neighbor's hands are pink!

I am babysitting my neighbor's kids and I was helping them make Mother's Day cards. The 2-yr stuck his entire hand in the pink ink pad and I can't get it off. Any suggestions?? I have 45 minutes before Dad comes to get them and I was hoping I could send them home clean!

Try washing them with shampoo and a rag. Washing my hair always seems to get the ink off my hands...

Just did a "google" search and found this:

Lava soap works pretty good to get ink stains off your hands.

Here are some homemade remedies:

You can use rubbing alcohol to dab on stained areas. Use a cotton
ball, paper towel or Q-tip.

You can remove ink stains on colored fabrics by soaking them in milk
over night then washing as usual.

If the stain is on white material use a bit of lemon juice and salt made
into a paste and then rub it into the stained area. Let the article hang
dry in the sun and it should be bright and stain free.

Use hair spray to remove ink from painted walls and some clothing.

Another trick to remove ink stains from walls is to use toothpaste.
Apply it to the stain, wait 10 minutes and wipe clean.

Try 409 All Purpose Cleaner. It seems to get out most dye stains.

Thanks everyone for your speedy replies! I don't have any Lava soap on hand - it will definitely be on my shopping list, but I tried rubbing alcohol and toothpaste. They both took some of it off. His hands definitely look better. He is 2 yrs old and is so cute - he is very concerned that his hands will never come clean. I wish my kids were that clean-conscious!

LOL...me too.

Did you try a baby wipe or a disinfectant cleaner/wipe? baby wipes work great for our stamps so it may work on cleaning the ink off of hands too...?
