I made a few nameframes for my son's teacher - I'm only giving her one but I can't decide which one. It all started when I made one, didn't like it, so I made another - only to then think maybe I liked the first one better....it's late and I need to give the gift tomorrow...nothing like waiting until the last minute!
Whoa! This was a really tough decision for me as they are BOTH awesome. I think I like #2 better, but I tend to always lean towards that distressed look. Great Job by the way!
They are both great, so it was tough to pick my favorite. I picked #1 because of the exact opposite reason of Jennifer's! LOL! I don't care for the "distressed" look. I also loved the little "word tabs" in #1 and that you used fewer colors. I just thought it made it more cohesive with fewer colors. But really they are both so cute and she will be tickled with either! What a nice Mommy! TFS

I voted for #2, but only because I like the addition of the third color, green. It adds a brightness to the frame. But, I really like the little word tags on the letters in #1.
I voted for #1 but it was a really close call. Could you give her both? My girlfriend teaches kindergarten and could probably find a spot for two name plates in her room - perhaps Mrs. Muller could too?
Thanks for the votes! I hemmed and hawed and finally decided to give her #1. I never thought about giving her both - maybe I should - except that I only bought one picture frame.
well i guess i'm a lil late...but if this helps for future reference i really liked the green color combo in num 2.....num 1 was adorable as well...good choice basketmom

I loved #1 because the letters seemed bolder. Neat and crisp... I liked your "on second thought" ... would have been interesting to see what she selected.
I wish your child was in my class!!! BTW, you are inspiring me to make my first name frame. A close friend had a baby girl today and maybe she will be the lucky recipient. I chose #1, I like the colors and the tags.
#1 I like the colors and for some weird reason I keep getting "tricked" by the same color letter (2nd L) in the 2nd name frame. I think the 1st one's little words are cute and I like the crispness of the design.
No matter what she will love it-it is a very sweet thing to make and I am sure she will display it proudly!
