Help the Gallery! Index Card Volunteers Needed! UPDATED in Post #154
Hello again! It's time for one final push to make index cards for all of the stamp sets in the gallery. We are SOOOOO close to being done--we are just about 246 index cards shy of having an index card for every stamp set that has a gallery.
Here's the list of the stamp sets that need index cards:
THE UPDATED LIST (REV D) IS IN POST #154!!!
So, what is an index card you may ask? Well, it is a card made from all of the images of a given stamp set--like this one:
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=53117&cat=749
Stampin' Up!'s copyright rules do not allow us to just photo copy the stickers or just stamp the images on a piece of paper and post those at the front of each gallery. Instead, the goal is to make the stamped images look like a card--but only displaying the images from that set.
What can you do to help? Look over the list below and decide if you have any of the stamp sets. If you do, post to this thread which stamp sets you'd be willing to make an index card. I will post to this thread to confirm that you have been assigned the sets you want to do (to make sure there are no duplicate efforts by all of you). Go and make your best card front with your stamp sets and upload the images to the special collection "Index Gallery". Then post to the sticky index thread at the top of the General Stamping Talk forum to tell the mods that you have uploaded index cards for your stamp sets (please list them). The mods will then move the card to the appropriate set gallery and make it so that it is no longer in your personal gallery. Your artwork will then be forever more the first image in that set's gallery--a little immoratality and a little personal pride knowing you have helped SCS!
One final fact--these are the stamp sets that don't have index cards now. If you may have signed up for one in the past but never posted it, please re-sign up now. I will update the list as needed, like every other day or so.
Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Yes, you post it like a card, but you do it under a gallery called "Index Cards" under special collections. When you are selecting a gallery to upload your index card to, it is near the bottom of the list!
Eternity--I have you down for Equestrian Dreams & Thankful Thoughts! Thank you!

Lisa,
Thank you so much for volunteering for so many! I have you down for all of them.
Waxhaw is south of Charlotte--about 9 miles south of the most southern part of the I485 loop that goes around Charlotte, NC. You are welcome to drop by if you are in the area!

I have never uploaded anything yet. Maybe this is a good place to start.
Loving Hearts is out on my desk right now, so I could do that one. I also have Nature's Christmas, and Miracle of Christmas.

Here's the ones I can do:
Brushstroke Horses
Delicate Dandelions
There are more sets I can do if needed. I'll start with these and then check back.
Have a stamp-a-riffic day!

I think the mods are moving the new index cards out pretty fast. I saw a copule of cards there, then they were gone from the gallery, but located in the folders where they were moved. I uploaded 3 index cards. The first one, Loving Hearts is now in the Loving Hearts folder. The other two (Miracle of Christmas and Nature's Christmas, gee, who gets out Christmas stamps in January! ) are waiting to be moved.
Gosh, this is fun.

OK I have a bunch of these
Construction
Fairy Nice
Going Somewhere
Pretty Princess
You are my Sunshine
I will do my best to try and get them all done. If anyone else has any of these and wants to do them thats fine also. Hopefully I can knock them all out! They just might not be the prettiest of card fronts

mesuezee (Suzanne)--I have you down for the 5 sets you requested. Don't worry if they are "great" cards or not--we just really want them done! Just do a little more than stamping them on paper--maybe layering them, or coloring them in, and they will be just fine! Thanks for helping!

It might be helpful for everyone if you note in the OP when someone has selected a set to stamp. That way we can keep an eye on which sets still need index cards. It's hard to go through the posts to figure it all out.

Hi, I did some awhile back but I can do more if needed. I have a bunch but see half of them have already been taken so I can do the ones that haven't been. Here is what I have:
Aida Cloth
Chore Chart
Holiday Sampler
Small Sayings
Also, I have the Baby Rattle Wheel, is that the Baby Rattle that you are talking about? If so, I can do that one too.
