Use Versamark DTP (direct to paper). Cover the entire image then pour on a layer of UTEE. Pour off the excess and heat emboss. Most directions say to add another layer of UTEE while the prior layer is still hot. But I find that I can't get enough to stick, so I use another application of Versamark. Repeat until you have at least 4 layers. Then put in the freezer for a few minutes or just wait. When it's really cooled off, you'll be able to crack it.

There's another technique called "shattered glass" and you can find the directions in the "resources" section.

or use SU!'s Glassy Glaze. I use 3 layers, pour on the 2nd & 3rd layers while still hot.

Also, your UTEE and you don't like the way it cracks, just reheat it with your heat gun, refreeze, and than crack again.

utee is ultra thick embossing enamel.
You can also use versa-mark and regular clear embossing powder-at least four layers.
