HELP!!! Conference Bag Tag
Okay, you talented ladies, I need your help. My mother has voluntered my services to make a tag for a tote bag that will be given out at a conference in early July. This bag will hold a 3 ring binder and other stuff.
I need your suggestions. I have an idea, but I don't want to tell you so that I don't cloud your suggestions.
I have a big shot, a scor pal, and a cricut expressions. Any ideas of what material, what shape, how decorated, anything. It would all be most useful.
Oh yeah, I have to make at least 200!!!

how about a clue what the conference is about? Do they have a theme/focus?

The conference is for the CJD Foundation. CJD is a fast acting terminal disease. It causes gait issues, demenita, paranoia and a host of other things. Most pass within a year of the first symptoms.
My father passed away of this February 11th, 2008.
The conference is great (don't want to see anyone from here there)! But, it is nice to be with others who have experienced what you have.
The colors are light purple, dark purple and sage green of their logo.

I think I would alter a luggage tag. They are made to be durable.
Here is a very simple one I made for my secret pal for a beach themed package (but obviously you would adjust for your own cause)...

Is the logo something like a ribbon? Could you cut a large on, maybe using the cricut and have in laminated?

Corrie.... I would keep it simple on a luggage tag. Logo, Name of Organization, By-Line (if they have one), and Date of Conference. If the name of the organization is printed in a particular font/style on their business materials, that same font/style should be used on the tag. Date of Conference I would print in black.
It's a conference for people/families with a common personal interest and not a party. Therefore, I wouldn't do anything fancy-dancy.

I was thinking of using chipboard? Maybe a large scallop and then something on the scallop (i.e. name of conference and then the other side, "in loving memory" of my dad"
How does that sound?
