Default Help with Basic Grey Acrylic Stamps

I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I purchased some Basic Grey Acrylic Stamps but no matter what I stamp on they seem to "stick" to paper, acrylic, etc.

I was using Stazon then tried other inks but I still seem to be having the same problem! It's a struggle to lift the stamp off the paper, etc and when I do manage to get the stamp off, it seems to take the ink off with it!

The stamps are new and I have cleaned them.

Any advice would be extremely welcomed!

Thanks.

Natalie.

I have some and they seemed a little sticky to me, too. I tried pigment ink and seemed to have better coverage. Hope that helps!

I agree with the pigment ink -- chalk ink works great with them too. They sure are super sticky!

I had that problem too but then I gave them a good conditioning and it seemed to help.

Give them a good patting with sellotape .... that should take some of the stickiness off them. I tend to use either chalk inks or stazon.

you could try rubbing them with a good quality earaser to take off some of the residue that may be left on them from manufacturing.

Personally, I never use Stazon on any of my clear stamps as I have heard that they can make the stamps sticky.

I rub the stamp along my jeans or a eraser, that normally does the trick.

HTH
