Default He ate the nuggets!!!

Last night I was over at my BF's house w/a bunch of my craft stuff. I had my supplies to make some of the nugget labels - including 2 bags of nuggets. I go to the kitchen to get a glass of ice water & come back to find DBF eating the nuggets! I just looked at him and said "Those are for a CRAFT project", he said "I know, but I knew you wouldn't mind". Well, no I didn't mind really - I just couldn't believe in the 2 minutes I was gone and had my back turned, he just dove right into the bag.

It's like having a little boy in the house - I swear! LOL

I did manage to make some nugget labels for the nuggets that were left! Next time I do crafts at his house, it will be a candy-free one!!!

My dh keeps asking if he can eat the nuggets yet. Having them in the house is just torture for him. But at least he hasn't eaten any yet.

No matter how old they grow, this never changes.

(Buy a third bag for munching.)

I think I am going to have to get the BIG BAG from Costco - just to keep enough around for the craft projects.

Yeah, he's definitely a little boy in a big man's body!

Hiding them from yourself is the fun part about hiding them....since you know where you hid them.....unless you are like me...and can't remember where you hid them....but then can't find them to do the craft project, either. Life is hard!

Usually if I have a project to do with candy I buy extra for me and sometimes to share with DH. I stash it in my stamp room and my DH is non the wiser as he doesn't come in there unless he needs to charge the phone.

One of my girlfriends STILL has to hide the Halloween candy AND Christmas presents from her husband. And he's almost 50 years old! LOL

Haha! That's so funny.. DH and I always have a sacrificial nugget or peanut butter cup or whatever I'm working on at the time. As soon as I open the bag, we pick what we want and then I try to work superfast before he wants another. Call it a preemptive snack. It's funny because he bugs me to START stamping!

I am the same way - as soon as that bag is opened, it's all downhill from there!

I can't complain too much about DBF, he's very supportive & interested in my stamping projects - so if he wants a few nuggets, well I guess I can oblige.

Besides eating them?? Haha!
They are our favorite, so I usually give them out for Halloween. I fill the 2-5-7-10 box with the mini cups for gifts and I'm going to sandwich the bigger ones between scalloped squares with a Halloween sentiment for DD's class. You can also put the minis in truffle boxes.

Very true, plus he did help me transfer my new Papertrey stamp set onto the jewel case. What a sweetie!

Okay...I'm fairly new here and apparently I missed the info thread on the Nuggets...can someone tell me what cute little crafty thing you're doing with the nuggets? I have a booth in a couple weeks and wanted to have a little candy something and this might be it!

this sounds just like me! Cammie sent me a bag of kisses which I found myself munching on far too frequently, so I hid them. Problem is I couldn't find them again for weeks! Hubby managed to find em though...for a small fee!

You can stamp on Avery 8160 address labels to create nugget wrappers. Papertrey Ink has created a stamp (in both the Spooky & Holiday Treats set) that fits exactly on the label - way cute! Check out their website for examples or visit one of the galleries in SCS - there are a lot of examples there.
