Default Have you heard of Stampscaping?

My aunt's friend goes to Arizona for the winters and learned
a new technique called "Stampscaping". Anyone know how to
do this or know where I can find out how to do it?? Thanks, Karmen

You use several different stamps to creat a scene. StampScapes sells the stamps. They are also great alone to! I have a few of them.

I also do my own version of 'stampscaping'. It involves moving my massive stamp collection around into different configurations in my craft room while I try to make a card. It's part martial arts, part feng shui!

(Yes, I'm a stamping dork!)

Mmmmmm....I LOVE Stampscapes stamps! If your aunt's friend has the opportunity, have her sign up for at least one class. The great thing about Stampscapes in particular is that you can make great scenes with little experience. AND, the more you practice (and the more stamps you aquire, lol), the more intricate you can get with making scenes. Mmmmm.....love 'em!

I just picked up my first stamps yesterday at a LSS while visiting my parents. Can't to get home and play with them. I even had an impromptu lesson given by one of the Stampscape instructors. I thought it would be too complicated for a beginner like me but she made it so simple and made me realize I could start doing it now and only get better with practice.

I love stampscapes, but there is another site that has the same type of stamps & some tiny online lessons. It's www.alextamping.com
and they have classes at a lot of stamp conventions.

VERY COOL! I would definitely need to limit myself to a certain type of scene or I will bust the bank

Aren't they cool? I spent a few hours yesterday and today going through the lessons so I can get started when I get home tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have some time before hitting the road for the holiday weekend. Would much rather stay home and play - er, I mean, stamp.
