Has SU changed their shipping packaging?

I was just wondering if SU has changed their shipping packaging. Out all years that I have been a demo with SU I have never received an order in a mail pack as opposed to a box. I was kind of surprised that they would ship it that way not worrying about damaging the plastic container that the stamps come in!

I think it is great. the mail packs work fine. In fact someone recently sent me a stamp set in a regular manilla envelope with just a bit of bubble wrap. Came fine.

I have used the padded envie when I have sold sets. Really saves on shipping cost and I think it goes faster through the mail then a box.

I agree with Joan, I have received many stamp sets in the mail shipped this way and they were fine. I think it would be wise for SU to ship this way instead of one little stamp set in a huge box!

Yes, it does but it also goes through the mail quicker and does not get the attention of the customs/tax people the way a box does. Anything over $20 Canadian (About $18 US at present) can be charged $5 plus 14% tax of the stated value converted to Canadian dollars.

Bubble packs work great. Our postage is much higher than the US and it is often cheaper to get stuff from the US than Canada. Our postage to Canadian addresses is often much higher than shipping stuff to the US or overseas. Makes no sense, I know.

Ive gotten stuff from a lot of usa sites that are very canadian friendly..they mark package as under 10.00 and as gift..all items have been intact..np's at all..Loves ya Gail

I've gotten things directly from SU that were packaged like that, but only when it was an order correction from a missing item or damaged item. Was your's an order correction, by chance.

I have also but it isn't right and if they open it - which they can - and realize that you are suggesting that, they can then put you on a list to watch.

Of course there are many items that really are under $15 US.
