Default Groovy Guava Substitute

Well, I just used the last of my Groovy Guava. I've been saving it as I love that color. Anyone know a possible substitute?

Does it have to be SU? I was thinking maybe PTI melon berry will work, but I bet that is pinker and not quite as orange.

I feel your pain! That is one awesome color. I wish I had enough to share but I have only 2 sheets left. Hope someone knows a close substitute...

Oh I was thinking something other than SU. I just love the guava color!

Have you tried SU's Calypso Coral? It's not a bad substitute for Groovy Guava. I also LOVE the GG, and still have some card stock left from my stash. I'll miss it when it's gone, too!

I was also going to suggest SU Calypso Coral. I think it's beautiful!

Groovy Guava and PTI's Melon Berry are identical enough that I use the cardstock and the inks interchangeably.

In fact, I just took a sheet of both to a window and couldn't tell which was which. PTI also has a pack of Melon Berry patterned papers, if you'd like that color in big and little polka dots, stripes or damask.

Gina K. Designs Just Peachy is very, very close. It's just a hair lighter than Groovy Guava, but close enough that I can use my Groovy Guava ribbon and it matches fine.

I have Calypso Coral and that is darker for what I've been wanting to use. I will look into those other colors. I do still have almost a whole spool of the ribbon left, so that will work with either of those as well!

I have a dozen sheets of GG along with some scraps that I'd be happy to send to a good home. PM me your address and I'll get it out it to you right away!
