Default Great gift idea to go with Cowboy Kid set

Yesterday I baked Cowboy cookies and I have to tell you they are so delicious! I think these would great to bake and pack in a gable box and use Cowboy Kid to decorate the box. I would be glad to share the recipe if it's all right for me to post it in this thread. I just didn't know for sure where I needed to post since it was a recipe.

Okay here is the recipe. Enjoy. Oh and by the way this is not my original recipe I got this from allrecipes.com

Cowboy Cookies

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups rolled oats (I used Quick oats)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease baking sheets. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually stir in the sifted ingredients. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before removing.

**I had to bake my cookies for about 11 to 12 minutes. I baked then until the edges where just starting to brown a bit and they where still a little gooey looking in the middle. Many of the reviews on this recipe said to make sure you didn't over bake them because they where not near as good. Mine turned out great! These may be the best homemade cookies I have ever made.
