Default Good Stamps Stamp Goods

I just bought an auction online that contains a few stamps from Good Stamps Stamp Goods. From what I understand, and from what I can find these stamps came from a storefront in California that either just closed down or sold out.

Does anyone know if they were bought out and by who, and what their angel policies are or how to find out?

Here is the info from "Whatever Became of the Great Old Stamp Companies"....

Good Stamps, Stamp Goods ...... Update as of 11/14/04.....Stampo, owner of VivaLasVegasStamps has reported that Good Stamps, Stamp Goods has retired.
UPDATE: 3:19/06 Christi reports that although this company is no longer selling stamps, it is selling paper, all kinds of crating items from all over the world and renting crafting videos! How neat is that? http://www.papergoods.com
/ It is now know as California Paper Goods

Oh, I forgot to mention this. When searching online for a phrase that has several words be sure to use quotation marks. Like this "good stamps stamp goods" That way Google or Yahoo --- or whatever the search engine --- will look for the words in the right order rather than separately.

I guess there is no definitive answer... this is the email I just got back..

"The policies that GSSG set up still apply. The collection has not been sold to anyone else (yet). The general rule they set up was that it was ok to use them in handstamped cards etc. for sale. However, some of the images in their 3000+ collection are not OK to use. If you want to send a list of the stamps you want to use I can forward it on to the owners of the images. Just describe them as best you can."
