Question Good pencil sharpener?

I am into the coloring craze and have also ordered SU's new watercolor pencils, but I'm having a hard time finding a good quality pencil sharpener for my colored pencils. Anyone have a good recommendation for me?

I got a great one at Staples from the drafting supply section. Very sharp and durable.

I have tried many. the Cum sharpeners are good but the best I have found is the Revlon makeup pencil sharpener.

At least a few people here on SCS recommended this one, so naturally I bought it. It works great, and was inexpensive.

This is the one I use - I almost always use the #1 length and it has really reduced breakage for me.

So alot of you have recommended the T'GAAL and I watched the video Dina posted. Looks cute but.......I have arthritis and the constant turning would be an issue with my wrists. Does anyone have any other suggestions maybe in the line of battery or electric ones? Right now I'm using the old fashioned attach to wall 1960's hand crank one. Like this except mine really is from and old school of the 50's and 60's.
not as hard on wrist sine it's wall mounted and you can use your entire arm to crank and not just your wrist like had held ones. Suggestions appreciated. TIA

Wouldn't one from the art section from Michael's or Hobby Lobby or Jo-Ann's work? I have one that came with my Prisma color pencils that I want to try first.

Sandy Allnock from YouTube has her all-time recommendation for a electric pencil sharpener..sorry I can't remember the name of it, but I'm sure if you looked up her channel.or blog, you'd be able to get it, she talked about it pretty recently.

My daughter bought me an electric one at Office Max a number of years ago. At least I THINK it was from there. They are now Office Depot. It is called iPoint and I love it! Battery lasts a long time and it sharpens beautifully. I will never go back to a manual one.

What I learned about sharpening pencils is that you should turn the
SHARPENER.....NOT the pencil.. Reduces breakage of the lead, especially when sharpening Prismacolor pencils.

The one Sandy uses is the Bostitch QuietSharp6 Classroom sharpener. When I was looking at that one, I called Dick Blick's customer service to find out if that (or any others) was recommended for colored pencils. The woman there directed me to this one, also by Bostitch. It is rather costly, but I bit the bullet, figuring if it lasts longer, it's worth it. It also has a replacement cutter available. I've been using it, and it seems to work well. The kicker apparently is, that colored pencils can clog or wear down electric pencil sharpeners. The one that I use is supposed to have auto-stop, though I don't know that the specific one I got does. But it lights up when your pencil is sharpened, so you can just remove the pencil and the sharpener doesn't continue to chew it up. So far, I highly recommend it!

If you are searching I'm pretty sure it is spelled Kum (coom I think) not Cum (come). That's not a nice word actually, slang for something sexual. I know you didn't know! Atleast that's what's on the I small brass sharpener I have and it's so sharp that turning it isn't hard on my arthritic wrists at all and they've been acting up lately. Ive been wanting to get their long point sharpener for a while. It's been highly recommended on several blogs and YouTube vids.
