Default Gold Metalic re-inker

Hi
I just bought the Gold metalic re-inker from SU. I went to use it today and it is very hard to squeeze out of the bottle and when it does come out it comes out in a very thin line...almost as though the opening were partialy clogged..KWIM?
Anyway I am wondering if it is supposed to be this much thicker consistency than regular re-inkers?

Thanks

Yes it's supposed to be like that. The ink is REALLY thick and it works best to squeeze it onto the pad then work the ink into the pad (as it seems to just "sit" on the top of the pad) w/ the back of a plastic spoon or a credit card or something. I HTH!

make sure you shake it really good before using it, to mix the ink together. Mine seperates after sitting for a time
