Hi, there! when are you coming up?

There are a couple of great stores north of the city -

"Absolutely Everything" is in Topsfield, MA --a favorite - it's about 45 minutes north of Boston. GREAT selection of products and variety - a vast variety of crafting styles and crafts and materials, And a helpful, knowledgeable and creative staff. They Sponsor a bunch of classes and/or demos regularly - Check out their newsletter for times and what's being covered and their blog.

The other store is "Ink About It" in Westford, MA - again about 45 minutes or so outside of the city in a different direction. They too sponsor bunches of classes and Make ' n Takes. Variety of stamps, dies, paper, etc. Nice place. check out their newsletter and blog

Ink About It

Good Luck! Happy Shopping!

So... nothing in the city really. I was hoping that while my husband was in his conference I could find a place to hang, look, buy, play. I have a buddy coming from New Hampshire and she will have a car but she is not a stamper - I know, hard to believe, but... I am going to check these two places out online and HOPE to be able to see at least one of them. I am coming up next Tuesday and will be leaving Sunday. Hear it's already cold and this Florida girl may have to shop to stay warm. Oh Darn! :-D
Thanks for your help.

There's PLENTY to shop in the city but probably not craft-wise. there is a PaperSource on Boylston Street in Boston:

Boston Paper Source

but I've never been to one - so can't say yeah or nay.

Hope you are able to get to one of the stores - It will be worth the visits, especially Topsfield!

Happy Shopping!
Enjoy your trip!

Absolutely Everything is about 45 min north of Boston. That would be my only recommendation for outside the city.

Paper Source is fun but not focused on stamping. They do have some unique stamps.

There is also this store Abeille in Brookline. Not sure if they still stock stamps. You may want to call.
Abeille | A Creative Workspace!

If you shop online, you may be disappointed in the selections of the local shops...

Thanks so much everyone. I'm NEVER disappointed in the local things. There is ALWAYS something special about picking up something and when I use it I think about where I got it. I've been to Boston several times but that was before I started my addiction... ummm... I mean - hobby. ;-D I will get to Boston Tuesday so if you think of anything else, let me know. Hope the weather warms up for this Southern gal.
