Default Glitter Windows with the Xyron

Okay, I'm just not getting how you can do this. Can someone help me because it's going over my head.

I haven't done this, but I would imagine you use the acetate sheet, run it through the Xyron, then the one side will be sticky for the glitter and also to stick to your "window" in the card??

Kind of thought that might be the way, but not sure. Anyone else?

I'd always heard to just use packing tape to cover the opening. Is that is, or am I thinking of something else?

This is what I have done , stamp your image on the acetate with stazon, let it dry , run acetate thru the xyron , then you can tear different pieces of the paper off and apply glitter to them , then you can run it thru again to get it sticky so you can adhere it to the card stock. There are a couple of samples in my gallery. HTH. Any questions let me know.

If you are doing a window , you don't want to run it thru the second time.

I have done glitter puzzles and from the directions I copied from Beate, you run your cardstock through the xyron. Then I used the Coluzzle and cut shapes into the sticky part, but not through the cardstock. Then you peel off the protective covering of the sticky part from the shapes you cut, put colored glitter on that, then peel off the rest of the protetive covering and cover with your dd glitter, or however you choose to do it. Then you put acetate over that. Wow, that sounds really confusing, but it is really simple. There are good directions from Beate somewhere on here.

HTH,
Melissa
