That sounds really interesting! I do not remember seeing one listed but prehaps if you check the RESOURCES section and do a search, there is something along the lines of what you want.
I just got my order of glass blocks in! I ordered them on line and they were pre-drilled with a hole in the side for the lights. My friend is doing the same thing with wine bottles and she is having a very hard time drilling a whole in the glass.
All I am going to do is tie it with Christmas ribbon and that's it. No stamping on them.
I seen some of these today at HL in the Christmas craft section. They are in little packages.

Wow! I didn't realize how simple these are - they'd make great Christmas gifts! I searched Home Depot and Lowe's online, but it looks like the blocks only come in a case of 8 or so? At $50 per case - that's not much in the scheme of things - but I wish I could find "just one" around here local so that I could try it before investing a lot....

Hi Karen,
Would you mind sharing where you ordered your pre-drilled blocks from?
I made several of these a couple years ago. I bought individual blocks at a tile specialty store. They were about $4 each at that time. Drilling the holes was the hardest part. I had to get a special bit for the drill. Other than the drilling part, they are quick to put together. And they are quite well received when given as gifts.

I got mine at www.accentbuildingproducts.com. They arrived fairly quickly. I paid extra for the pre-drilled ones, but I am happy I did. I have a friend that is doing the same thing with wine bottles and she is having a really hard time drilling the holes.
Check this thread out. Mary Z answered lots of questions about how she made these. I made a much simpler version. Like someone else mentioned, I just tied wired ribbon like a gift. I made some with gold lights and gold ribbon, some with red lights and red ribbon. Mostly I used white lights though.
