gamsol question
before I start, do you have to use staz on ink, or does basic black work?
Thanks!

In a previous thread, Mama K mentioned the regular classic ink gets "a little fuzzy" when you use gamasol. She suggests Staz On. I have used Craft ink, and although you have to wait for it to dry, it stayed sharp around the edges....

You can also use VersaFine! I have used it for Gamsol and water colors. It holds fine and is a very detailed ink and leaves a perfect impression.

My experience is that the Basic Blakc does smudge with this technique.

as another poster suggested, I like StazOn; haven't tried anything else, so couldn't really make other recommendations...have fun!

Krylon will keep your colors and Gamsol from absorbing into the paper!
You need some type of permanent ink.
Krylon is good to mist over when you are done to seal the pastels and chalks both.

So, just use the Krylon spray on classic ink before doing the watercolor technique only, not the Gamsol technique. Is that correct? or am I still mixed up?

I have never use Krylon *before* any technique? Don't know about that.
Just know it works good after, to seal your finish.

With my asthma I am afraid of Krylon. I wonder if the Gamsol will be a problem too?
